Foodlink will be at Shady Brook tomorrow! 🍎

Foodlink and the Wayne County Partnership will be holding a food distribution event at Shady Brook Plaza tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1st.

📍 Shady Brook Plaza
🚗 Enter at Martin Builders – 4460 NYS Route 414, North Rose
⏰ Distribution begins at 9:30 AM and continues until food is gone. Please do not arrive before 9:00 AM.

The distribution is free and open to all Wayne County residents, and no pre-registration is required.

🌟 Business Spotlight: Mat Power Youth Wrestling Club 🌟

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Mat Power Youth Wrestling Club, one of the businesses that call Shady Brook home!

Mat Power was established in 1988 and serves youth ages 4 to 14 from the North Rose-Wolcott area and surrounding communities. Their program teaches the fundamentals of wrestling while helping young athletes build confidence, discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Mat Power is led by Coach and President Matt Manley, who has been a part of Mat Power for over 20 years. He has created a welcoming environment where kids can learn, grow, and develop both on and off the mat.

Their season runs from November through April, with practices held Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 PM. Wrestlers also have the opportunity to participate in optional weekend tournaments beginning in January.

We’re grateful to have Mat Power as part of the Shady Brook family and appreciate everything they bring to our community!
