Any tree people out there who could help us with a dead limb splitting from the trunk before it falls on Winky? It's over her dog house.

Well, I was wrong. Took Salem and Miles for a pup cup today, brought left overs back to the rest of the gang, Yoda stole the cup and demolished the rest of it himself.

Yoda had to take a trip to the vet for his yearly checkup and heartworm test. He did so good, so treated him to a pup cup. He took 2 licks and wasn't a fan. 😆

Do we have any bee keepers out there who'd like to rescue this hive I just ticked off? 🐝
It was in our bales of straw so it must've fallen apartwhen I grabbed one. I didn’t have a flash light, so thought it was a deflated dog ball until I noticed things crawling.

Rocky and Adrienne should've been named Bonnie and Clyde. We knew they were a pair, but we didn't realize they were thick as thieves. These 2 do not want a thing to do with other chickens, they attack them. Adrienne doesn't want other hens around her man and Rocky wants nothing to do with them either. They wander the entire property all day on their own and when the sun goes down, they go back to their coop to roost. Adrienne loves fruit, so when you leave them a piece, Rocky will wait for her to go for it first.
That's chicken love! 🐔❤️

Bones has officially been with us for a year now and he's still waiting for his forever home! He's been fostered by one of our volunteers since last Feb, living with cats, dogs and a toddler. Turns out that's exactly what this boy needed to help him come out of his shell and thrive, because he wasn't doing well on his own with us at the rescue. So we're looking for a home that will have at least one other cat that can be Bones' companion and guide to help him adjust with a new environment and new people.

Thanks to our volunteers for thinking of us and bringing mums, hay and pumpkins so we could have some fall decor!
Remember, if you don't carve your pumpkins we'll take them when you're done! The pigs LOVE pumpkin season.

The Dickens Christmas Show & Festivals is around the corner and we are looking for individuals and businesses who'd like to donate towards our Festival of Tables silent auction and/or raffle table.

Festival of Tables - we are in need of donations to help cover the cost of having the arrangements made for the silent auction. Individuals and business can donate $100 and a centerpiece will be made in your honor. You can dedicate your piece to someone, a current or lost pet, or in your business name. We'll display the information along with the centerpiece on it's own table.

Raffle - we're looking for local businesses who would like to donate gift certificates or items to be featured on our raffle table. Each prize has it's own wrapped gift box with your company name, address and logo listed.

If you would like to help, please email us at [email protected] so we can send you a form.

Do you like getting caught in the rain? 🌧
