Fuller Gardens is an early 20th century public botanical garden nestled along the NH coast. Alvan T.

These grounds were designed in the 1920's by the noted landscape designer Arthur Shurtcleff and modified by the Olmstead Firm after acquisition of the adjacent property. Fuller commissioned the gardens as an ornament to his summer estate. The Fuller Gardens remains true to its original design featuring 1700 rose bushes, formal English perennial borders, annual displays, a dahlia display garden, Japanese Garden and Conservatory, with thousands of rare cacti and succulents. The Gardens are located on the ocean, entirely wrapped in sculpted hedges. Located just north of the junction of route 111 and route 1A, open seven days from 10am to 5:30pm May 14 through mid October.

What a beautiful wedding season it has been at Fuller Gardens! 🌿💍

From intimate ceremonies surrounded by roses to joyful celebrations framed by the beauty of our gardens, we’ve been honored to be part of so many special days this year. 🌹

A heartfelt thank you to all of the couples who chose Fuller Gardens as the setting for such an important moment in their lives. We’re so grateful to have witnessed the love, laughter, happy tears, and beautiful memories made here. 💖

And a very special thank you to our wonderful wedding coordinator, Kay Longo, for all she does to help make each wedding day so special and memorable. We’re incredibly grateful for her dedication and care. 🌟

And just like that, another season at Fuller Gardens has come to a close. 🥀

As we say goodbye to another beautiful season, we're filled with gratitude - for every visitor who wandered our paths, every member who supported us, every volunteer and staff member who helped bring the garden to life, and for all of you who continue to love and cherish this very special place. 🌹

Thank you for making 2026 such a memorable year at Fuller Gardens. We'll miss seeing you among the flowers, and we look forward to welcoming you back when the Gardens awaken in spring! 🌱

There is something quintessentially beautiful about a New England fall weekend like this one - and we're soaking up every bit of it! 🍁

This is our last weekend of the season, and there is still so much to enjoy. Even roses blooming in the garden! 🌹

Come take one last stroll through the Garden before we close for the season. We'd love to see you! 🍂

🌹As Summer begins to fade, we change the way we care for our Roses.

Rather than deadheading, we gently remove the petals and leave developing seeds behind. Without removing the seed heads, the roses receive a natural signal to slow their growth and shift their energy from producing more flowers, to forming rose hips and preparing for the winter ahead.

It's a small change in our care, but an important one - allowing the roses to follow their natural rhythm as the garden moves into autumn. 🥀🍂

We love seeing Fuller Gardens buzzing with life! 🐝🦋 Our hardworking pollinators play such an important role in our gardens and our environment. And as monarchs prepare for their long journey, we’re happy to provide plenty of blooms to help fuel them along the way. 🌸
