Did you know that when you become a dues paying member of the U.S. Naval Landing Party you become a member of the Navy & Marine Living History Association family! The NMLHA is our parent organization that allows us to utilize many resources for research and preservation, and network with experts in the naval/maritime history genre! The USNLP is one of 22+ member groups within the organization portraying a timeline from the American Revolution to World War II and more. Take a look at our sister crews and the rest of the NMLHA website via Navy & Marine Living History Association https://share.google/Iei31L4JvxCC7WZas

The USNLP is a group with membership nationwide and with crews focusing in New England, the southern Mid-Atlantic, and in the Gulf Coast/Texas regions. Though we are known to be seen anywhere there is a Civil War naval or maritime relation.

Dues are $25 a year!
Included in your dues, are access to NMLHA/USNLP resources, event insurance, living history gear, and a chance to be a part of an ever growing family.
Upon membership you'll receive our Handbook for Civil War Naval Reenactors! Also learn from many of our shipmates the different trades sailors had like marlinespike seamanship, tailoring, wood working, blacksmithing, and so much more!

Send your inquiries to our crew coordinator via [email protected] or shoot us a message here on Facebook!

Recently the crew of the USNLP had the pleasure of joining other Naval living history groups in celebrating the 170th Commissioning Anniversary of the U.S.S. Constellation (Sloop of War)! The crew set up their displays of naval items and partook in shipboard activities like gun drill and marching around the capstan. Three cheers for our gracious hosts Historic Ships in Baltimore and for our fellow living historians Ship's Company, Inc., the Pawnee Guard, and the Rappahannock Whalers!
We look forward to coming back!

Now hear this! Special Event!!!

The USNLP will be aboard the USS Constellation on July 26th and 27th to commemorate her Commissioning and her 100 years of naval service! We are joining other esteemed naval living history crews such as Ship's Company, Inc., the Pawnee Marine Guard, and the Rappahannock Whalers to bring the USS Constellation alive through activities for all ages! Time to be hands on with history as we brace the yards, march around the capstan, and man of her great guns (cannon). Get a glimpse of what life aboard a 19th century sailing ship was like for a sailor. See how they worked and the skills they had, the uniforms they wore, what the sailors ate!

We hope to see you aboard!

*Ticket required to gain access to the ship via Historic Ships in Baltimore*
