WE DID IT!!!!
The FES Playground Project is COMPLETE!
The generosity of the anonymous donor is unparalleled! This project is complete because of that donation! On the manual side of things, the project is complete thanks to the following group of Franklin residents!
Cindy Satterfield, Jenny Pinto, Chelsea & Russ Stockton, Megan & Jeff Olsen, Melissa & Michael Sevigny, Meghan & Dan Danko, Heidi & Steve Salemma, Pam & Lyle Flaherty, Mark Cote, Pius Grim, Jeff Coit, Aaron Nash, Mike Mastalerz, Kevin Ducharme, Joe Ruffo, Mike Weckwerth, Laura Burke, Shannon Pepin, Roxy Carboni, Dave Wheeler, Steve Hancock, Patrick Shire, Patrick Leonard, Ryan Acosta and the crew from the playground company - We endured rain, wind, mist and BELOW average temperatures - such a vast difference from 2 years ago when we were all melting!
There are 7 new features and we cannot wait for Monday so that kids can finally see it!
Shout out to Tom Curran and the Franklin Public Works crew who once again helped with the removal of the old equipment.
Thank you to - Cindy Satterfield, Denise Grant, Lori Goldstein, Jessica Coit, Caitlyn Leonard, Stacy Weckwerth, Chelsea Stockton, Christina Young, Lauren Gorra and Emily Hancock for providing refreshments and food for all of the workers yesterday!
The FES PTO is so grateful to EVERYONE who has helped from the initial start of this project, supporting our fundraisers, the donations, the time and the effort.
Thank you to our very own PTO members Cindy Satterfield and Meghan Danko who were the leads on this crazy idea from the start and made this come to fruition! We are so filled with gratitude!

FES PTO 2026 Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week Recap
HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL WHO DONATED!
They say it takes a village and the “FES Village” came thru!
This week is always so special and without the outside help it wouldn’t be nearly as successful!! We gave our FES staff a special day each day! Included special books signed by their classes and ended with a catered salad bar and BAM! gift cards to round out the weeks theme!
Grateful for our volunteers and so appreciative of our Staff!

Woo Hoo!!!
Our 10th Annual 5K Trail Run was Saturday and the rain couldn’t stop the fun! As we had 130 5k finishers and 5 mini chip runners!!

HUGE Shout Out to our very own Race Director Melissa Kocon Sevigny !!! This event is always a success and that is because of your dedication!
