NCPFA firmly believes the service our members provide to the community is a matter of public concern and this association endeavors to raise awareness of the value each and every one of our highly trained members bring to the community we serve. Among the association’s many goals is to work to improve community awareness of the good work of our members, especially the service they perform that the association believes only well trained, experienced firefighters could adequately provide. To prevent any appearance of interfering in the operations or administration of the North Charleston Fire Department and prevent any misunderstanding with the community the NCPFA has decided that the association will not post original incident images or videos if the association is aware they were captured by employees of the City of North Charleston, unless said images or photographs are specifically released by an authorized official of the City of North Charleston. Additionally, original photographs or videos of an incident will not be posted by any employee of the City of North Charleston who is “on duty” at the time of posting or by any employee of the City of North Charleston who responded to the event in question. The association respectfully requests that anyone having information that would aid NCPFA in maintaining compliance with this policy please notify the association immediately.

Yesterday while covering in the City of Goose Creek Fire Department area. BC206 and E209 assisted with a working fire. Multiple animals were rescued and the fire was brought under control quickly.

Shortly after Tower 203, E206, and E231 were dispatched to the ladson area for a working fire. This fire was also brought under control with the combine efforts of multiple fire departments.

For everyone that ordered a St Patrick's Day t shirt. The shirts are IN and ready for pick up from the location you selected.

If you did not specify a location, shirts will be at North Charleston Firehouse #2.

Shirts can be picked up during normal business hours (unless you are in contact with a member who can accommodate you otherwise). Be mindful that these are working firehouses and upon your arrival, crews may not be in quarters.

Again, proceeds raised will be donated to the South Carolina Firefighters Burned Children's Fund.

E205 on scene first due of a working fire in a 2 story apartment complex. Arrived to find smoke showing from the breezeway. E205 initiated an aggressive interior attack and the fire was brought under control in under 15 minutes. Fire contained to the unit of origin.

E202 arrives as the first due engine to smoke showing on all 4 sides of a commercial building. Units arrived and made an aggressive interior attack, bringing the fire under control in approx 20 minutes.

Being a Firefighter is an all hazards profession. Yesterday E206 was dispatched to a structure fire at a single family residence. After arriving on scene E206 made an aggressive interior attack, placing the fire under control in less then 10 minutes. While working units were informed of multiple venomous snakes inside. 😱
