Our recent Distinguished Champion for Advocacy Award honoree, Barbara Young, shared the story of her son, Gregory, to put a face to the real-life impact of proposed legislation that would increase Medicaid reimbursement rates for structured day programs serving individuals with traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries. BIANJ has been an integral part of a coalition in advocating passage of this legislation for the benefit of people with both traumatic and non-traumatic acquired brain injuries.

Interested in advocating for the rights, needs, and quality of life of people affected by brain injury and their families? Contact Tom Grady, Director of Advocacy and Public Affairs, at [email protected] to learn how you can get involved.
