We love seeing our individuals and staff come together to celebrate, make memories, and enjoy all the fun that this time of year brings. From spooky surprises to Halloween laughs, it’s all about making every moment special! 🎉🍬

🍎🍂 A Perfect Fall Day for Apple Picking! 🍂🍎

Crisp autumn air, beautiful fall colors, and fresh apples made for a wonderful day out! 🍁 BFAIR’s CBDS Program, Pathways to Possibilities, enjoyed a trip to Jaeschke’s in Adams to take in the season and enjoy some good old-fashioned apple-picking fun! 🍎😊

Getting out into the community, enjoying new experiences, and making memories together is what it’s all about! 💚💙 We love seeing our participants embrace the season and enjoy all that beautiful Berkshire County has to offer.

Never one to shy away from a challenge, Kenneth takes the time to build meaningful relationships with the individuals he supports, finding ways to understand their unique needs and help them feel comfortable, happy, and valued. He encourages independence, communicates in ways that work best for each individual, and treats everyone with dignity, respect, and humility.

Kenneth also goes above and beyond by helping train fellow staff members and sharing his knowledge to ensure individuals receive the best possible care. And, of course, he brings plenty of laughter and smiles along the way! Known as the funniest in the house, Kenneth understands that joy and connection are just as important as care and support. 😊

This past Friday, BFAIR and UCP staff were proud to attend Elder Services of Berkshire County, Inc. Annual Meeting, celebrating 52 years of dedication to supporting older adults and strengthening our community!

We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with fellow community partners, celebrate the incredible work being done across Berkshire County, and recognize the importance of collaboration in creating a stronger, more inclusive community for people of all ages and abilities.

We are excited to share that Randy Kinnas, CEO of UCP of Western Massachusetts and BFAIR, will be a keynote speaker at Berkshire Community College's upcoming AI for Nonprofits Summit on November 18!

With more than 21 years of experience as a nonprofit CEO and over three decades in human services leadership, Randy brings a wealth of knowledge, a passion for innovation, and a deep commitment to strengthening the communities we serve.

Throughout his career, Randy has championed collaboration, organizational growth, and forward-thinking approaches that create meaningful opportunities for individuals and families. His leadership philosophy is reflected in one of his favorite sayings: "Be Better, Not Bitter."

As artificial intelligence continues to reshape how organizations operate, opportunities like this summit bring nonprofit leaders together to explore new ideas, share experiences, and discover practical ways to strengthen their missions.
