Last night, March 15, 2026, American Legion Post 125 had the honor of hosting a special dinner recognizing and celebrating our local Emergency Services. These incredible individuals answer the call during some of life’s most critical moments, and it meant so much to have the opportunity to show them the appreciation and gratitude they truly deserve.
Members of the Unit 125 Auxiliary proudly volunteered their time and energy, working with the Post to make this evening extra special. Their dedication helped create a warm and welcoming event for the men and women who give so much to our community.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Colegrove Elementary School’s Ms. Alicia Sprague, Drury High School’s Kindness Club led by Mrs. Bergeron, and Drury High School’s Game of Life Class led by Mr. Boulger and Sgt. Mirante for involving our local students in such a meaningful way. The students created thoughtful thank-you cards and drawings that were shared with our emergency service members. Their messages of gratitude were a beautiful reminder that even the smallest gestures can carry powerful appreciation.
Seeing students, volunteers, and community members come together to honor our hometown heroes was truly special. It is moments like these that remind us how strong and compassionate our community is.
To all of our Emergency Service professionals—thank you for your courage, your sacrifice, and your unwavering commitment to protecting and serving our community. We are deeply grateful for each and every one of you. 🇺🇸❤️
