After an incredible journey from Provincetown to North Adams, these walkers crossed the finish line with smiles, sore feet, and a tremendous sense of accomplishment. We couldn’t be prouder of their dedication to raising funds for the Veterans & Children Foundation.

Way to go, team—you absolutely crushed it! ❤️💙

🇺🇸 This past weekend, members of our Auxiliary proudly joined The American Legion’s USA250 Challenge to help raise funds for the Veterans & Children’s Foundation at National Headquarters.

What an incredible accomplishment! Our dedicated group walked coast to post, starting in Provincetown on Friday and made their way all the way home to North Adams by Sunday. We honestly aren’t sure if they’re incredibly inspiring or just a little bit crazy for taking on this challenge—but we’re grateful they did! 💙❤️

A special shoutout goes to our youngest volunteer and Junior Auxiliary member, Nina, who absolutely crushed it alongside the rest of the team. We couldn’t be more proud of her determination and spirit!

The walkers received a wonderful hometown welcome at the Post, where we celebrated with a combined Father’s Day Picnic and Meat Raffle. Thank you to everyone who helped make the event so special and memorable.

There are still 11 days remaining in the USA250 Challenge, so there’s plenty of time to support this amazing cause. If you’d like to help make a difference for veterans and their families, donations can still be made through Mitch’s fundraising page.

Let’s hear it for our amazing team! Simply put an outstanding group of individuals! Through every mile, they showed determination, teamwork, and heart while raising money for a great cause. Thank you Mitch, Kaitlyn, George, Jesse, Jill, Nina, Bill & Becca. 👏 👏 👏

🇺🇸 The North Adams Hometown Hero Banner Reveal Ceremony 🇺🇸

Please join us on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at North Adams City Hall as we honor and celebrate the local men and women who have proudly served our country. ❤️🤍💙

This special community event not only recognizes our veterans, but also highlights the incredible efforts of local students helping preserve their legacies for generations to come.

Students from McCann Technical School CAD program have worked hard manufacturing custom hardware for the veteran banners, while students from Drury High School civics classes are building a digital archive to help preserve and share the stories of our Hometown Heroes.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this meaningful project possible and helping ensure our veterans are honored and remembered throughout our community. 🇺🇸

Last night, March 15, 2026, American Legion Post 125 had the honor of hosting a special dinner recognizing and celebrating our local Emergency Services. These incredible individuals answer the call during some of life’s most critical moments, and it meant so much to have the opportunity to show them the appreciation and gratitude they truly deserve.

Members of the Unit 125 Auxiliary proudly volunteered their time and energy, working with the Post to make this evening extra special. Their dedication helped create a warm and welcoming event for the men and women who give so much to our community.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Colegrove Elementary School’s Ms. Alicia Sprague, Drury High School’s Kindness Club led by Mrs. Bergeron, and Drury High School’s Game of Life Class led by Mr. Boulger and Sgt. Mirante for involving our local students in such a meaningful way. The students created thoughtful thank-you cards and drawings that were shared with our emergency service members. Their messages of gratitude were a beautiful reminder that even the smallest gestures can carry powerful appreciation.

Seeing students, volunteers, and community members come together to honor our hometown heroes was truly special. It is moments like these that remind us how strong and compassionate our community is.

To all of our Emergency Service professionals—thank you for your courage, your sacrifice, and your unwavering commitment to protecting and serving our community. We are deeply grateful for each and every one of you. 🇺🇸❤️
