Founded in 2012, Norman Grappling Club is a youth wrestling club serving the youth of Norman, OK and the surrounding area. The goal of the club is to provide a quality wrestling program to the youth of the Norman area that teaches more than just the sport of wrestling. We believe that the wrestlers will learn much more than how to wrestle. They will learn the values of discipline, hard work, and p
erseverance. Novice is for the "less experienced" wrestlers. Open is for anyone who is more experienced and/or more skilled. Starting the first Saturday of December, we will be participating in both novice and open tournaments. (A wreslter cannot participate in a novice tournament if they have alreay won 12 medals total.) These tournaments will be at different sites and we will have coaches at both sites. The season runs through mid to late February. You decide when and where your wrestler will particiapte in a tournament. It is your choice. However, we feel the more tournament experience a wrestler gets, the better the wrestler will be.
