✨STEMtastic™️ Adventures does it again.

LET’S BUILD A WIND MOBILE 🌬️🚗

Kiddos engaged in the engineering process to build a model of a wind mobile. Using their knowledge of wind and wind-powered transportation, along with paper, straws, Lifesaver mints, tape, and scissors, the young geniuses had to:
🤔Plan
✍🏾 Design
🔨 Build
🌬️Test
✂️Improve
🌬️Re-Test

Those who stuck with the process actually saw results. I can see some future engineers here, can’t you? 🙌🏾👏🏾

🗣️I. LOVE. WHAT. I. DO 🥼⚙️🧮✏️🍎

How do you teach the concept of “reflection of light” to kindergartners? Use double-sided mirrors and challenge them to angle it so they can see themselves and a friend.

🧪 Mystery Powder Lab: Science in Action! 🔍

STEMtastic™️ Adventures Round 2 at the Boys & Girls Club 🙌🏾

Today’s STEMtastic™️ Adventure challenged campers to become real scientists!

Working in teams, they investigated Mystery Powders A, B, C, and D, making careful observations and collecting data to identify each unknown powder.

Using water and vinegar as test solutions, they looked for clues, recorded evidence, and defended their conclusions using scientific reasoning.

🥽 Lab goggles.
🔎 Magnifying glasses.
💧 Eye droppers.
📋 Data tables.
🧠 Critical thinking.

This wasn’t about getting the “right” answer—it was about asking questions, making observations, communicating ideas, and using evidence to support a claim.

That’s what STEM is all about!

🚀 Summer isn’t over yet—book a STEMtastic™️ Adventure and let us explore, create, and discover with your young geniuses!
