Coastal Flood Advisories are in effect across areas along the coastline, Chesapeake Bay, and upper rivers due to widespread minor coastal flooding expected over the next couple of days. Locally moderate flooding is possible across some of these areas. A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect across the southern shore of the tidal Potomac and the bay side of the Maryland Eastern Shore where moderate coastal flooding expected. Low pressure lingering offshore will dominate the weather pattern through midweek, keeping conditions breezy to windy across the region, with the strongest winds along the coast. Expect mostly to partly sunny skies today with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s and chilly overnight lows ranging from the upper 30s inland to the 50s closer to the water. Inland areas will remain dry through Wednesday, while coastal sections face unsettled conditions and rain chances on Monday before temperatures warm into the upper 60s to near 70 by Tuesday.
