Every year, millions of pieces of furniture end up in landfills.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Restoration Day at Fully Furnished Ministries 🔨

Before a piece ever enters a family’s home, it first arrives at our warehouse where volunteers carefully inspect, clean, repair, organize, and prepare it for delivery.

Dressers are repaired. Tables are cleaned. Beds are assembled. Furniture is sorted, staged, and loaded onto trucks, ready to become part of a family’s fresh start.

What may seem like a simple piece of furniture is actually part of a much bigger story.

Every dresser, table, bed, and chair being prepared today will soon help create a fully furnished home for a family in need. A home filled with hope, dignity, and stability.

FAQ: What Size Beds Do We Accept and Why? 🛏️

At Fully Furnished Ministries, we are committed to providing comfort and dignity to displaced families by furnishing their homes with care. One of the most needed items in every home is a bed, and we want to share why we specifically accept twin, full, and queen-sized beds.

Why do you only accept twin, full, and queen-sized beds?

We carefully choose these bed sizes because they best meet the needs of the families we serve. Here’s why:

➖Maximizing Space: The families we serve often live in 1-2 bedroom apartments that are around 90 sq. ft.

➖Versatility: Twin and full-sized beds are ideal for children’s rooms, especially when siblings need to share a space. These sizes make it easier to fit multiple beds in a room, ensuring every child has a cozy place to sleep.

➖Ease of Access: Smaller beds are much easier to maneuver through narrow hallways, tight corners, and small elevators often found in apartment buildings.

We are so honored to be 's ministry partner this year! 🤍

This week, the children attending VBS are helping raise funds for 40 cribs that will be given to families in our community. How incredible is that?

We’re so grateful for the partnership of PCBC and their commitment to serving families across Norcross and Peachtree Corners. Watching the next generation learn what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus is something truly special.

Parents, grandparents, and kids: keep it up! Every dollar raised helps provide a safe place for a child to sleep and supports families as they begin again.

While this is a fun, trending reel, our motivation at Fully Furnished Ministries is very real.

For many families across Greater Atlanta, moving into an empty apartment with little more than a blanket on the floor is a reality.

That's why we do what we do ⬇️

Fully Furnished Ministries delivers gently used furniture to people emerging from crisis. Through the generosity of donors and the dedication of volunteers, furniture is collected, cleaned, prepared, and delivered to families in need.

With Christ's love as our inspiration, we help restore hope and dignity through the gift of household furnishings while helping families build the stability needed for a fresh start.

A bed becomes a place to rest.A dresser becomes a place to store belongings.A rocking chair becomes a place for a mother to comfort her child.

And what begins as an empty room becomes a fully furnished home.

Every truckload tells a story 🚚

This weekend, 30 volunteers loaded our trucks, completed 70 donation pickups, ran 4 delivery routes, and served families throughout our community, each one receiving more than just furniture. They received dignity, comfort, and the love of Christ.

Every dresser, table, and sofa on those trucks represents a story of restoration. A mom who no longer has to sleep on the floor. A child who now has a bed of their own. A family who can finally gather around a dinner table together.

Our volunteers don’t just move furniture. They deliver hope. They bring light into homes that were once empty and remind every family that they are seen, valued, and loved.

Thank you to everyone who donates, loads, lifts, and serves alongside us. Together, we’re furnishing more than homes. We’re furnishing hope, dignity, and stability 🏠

It’s an opportunity to restore hope, deliver dignity, create stability, and share the Gospel with families throughout our community.

At Fully Furnished Ministries, every piece of furniture that comes through our doors is part of a bigger story.

Furniture is donated, picked up, cleaned, prepared, sorted, and loaded onto our trucks before being thoughtfully placed into homes across Greater Atlanta.
