As we conclude this week’s reflection on the Fear of the LORD, let us remember that holy reverence is not about being afraid of GOD—it is about loving Him so deeply that we desire to honor Him in every area of our lives.
This week we learned:
✔ The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.
✔ Reverence for GOD shapes our decisions.
✔ Obedience is an expression of love.
✔ Honoring GOD’s Word brings stability and direction.
✔ Holy fear protects us from compromise and spiritual drift.
When we walk in reverence before GOD, we become more sensitive to His voice, more obedient to His leading, and more willing to surrender our own desires for His will.
Take a moment to ask yourself:
• Have I grown in my reverence for GOD this week?
• Am I making decisions that honor CHRIST?
• Is GOD’s Word shaping my life or is culture shaping it?
• What area of my life needs deeper surrender?
May we not simply admire GOD from a distance, but walk closely with Him in humility, obedience, and love. Let us be people who honor His presence, treasure His Word, and desire His will above our own.
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” – Ecclesiastes 12:13
Father, teach us to walk in wisdom, holiness, and reverence. Let our lives bring glory to JESUS CHRIST in all that we do. Amen.
