Our November Business After Hours is bringing local nonprofits into the spotlight, and the showcase is now full!
Join us Tuesday, November 17, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Galley Hatch Restaurant in Hampton to meet the organizations doing important work throughout our communities, learn about their missions, and discover opportunities to get involved.
Participating organizations include Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire & Vermont, Annie's Angels Memorial Fund, HAVEN NH, The KEY Collective, Seacoast Mental Health Center, TASC Rides - Transportation Assistance for Seacoast Citizens, Aspire Living & Learning, Southern District YMCA / Exeter Area YMCA, Cornerstone VNA, Girls on the Run - New Hampshire, RiverWoods Exeter, Exeter Area GFWC, Seacoast Family Promise, Community Children's Fund- Exeter Area Charitable Foundation, Lamprey Health Care, Our Place NH - Housing Solutions for Adults with Developmental Disabilities, and Connor's Climb Foundation.
Nonprofit showcase spaces are filled, but Chamber members can still save the date and plan to join us for an evening of networking and community connections.

There is a side of Annie's Angels that most people will never see. ❤️

Behind every fundraiser, every donation, every event, and every family we support is a reality that goes far beyond financial assistance.

Some days, the phone doesn't stop ringing. Families are facing emergency surgeries. Others are navigating heartbreaking diagnoses, life-changing decisions, or preparing to say goodbye to someone they love.

And sometimes, all of those things are happening at once.

These aren't just applications, names on a list, or stories we share on social media.

These are people. These are families. And they become part of our family, too.

We sit with them in their darkest moments. We listen to the fear and uncertainty in their voices. We hold their hands, celebrate their victories, grieve their losses, and help carry the weight of circumstances no family should have to navigate alone.

Our team reads heartbreaking requests for assistance every single day. We hear the desperation in voicemails from people who have nowhere else to turn.

And sometimes, we have to gather ourselves before answering the next call, because another family is counting on us to be a source of hope.

This is the part of nonprofit work that doesn't show up in a fundraising total or an annual report.

For over 20 years, Annie's Angels has been so much more than an organization providing financial assistance.

We don't just raise money. We build relationships. We become a support system. We show up in whatever capacity we can, even when there are no easy answers.

We cannot take away every diagnosis, change every outcome, or solve every hardship. But we can remind families that they are not alone.

And that matters.

What we do matters. What Annie's Angels has become is bigger than any one of us.

We are learning. We are growing. We are evolving. And as we move forward, the heart of our mission remains the same.

To be a beacon of hope for families facing some of life's most unimaginable challenges.

Because sometimes, the greatest thing we can give someone isn't financial assistance. It's knowing they have someone in their corner. ❤️

Through our Angel Pets for Vets program, we are thrilled to celebrate our 700th companion animal placement!

And what better way to mark this special moment than with a sweet adoption and a new beginning! 🐶❤️

Every placement represents so much more than a number. It’s companionship, comfort, unconditional love, and the beginning of a beautiful bond.

Last week, Annie’s Angels joined The Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth for their October Business After Hours, hosted by Beck Bode and Great Circle Catering!

Our Director of Development, Susan Young, and Trustee Molly McNiel enjoyed an evening of networking, strengthening relationships, and connecting with fellow community leaders and local businesses.

Our hearts are especially heavy for our Angel Families right now. 🤍

This time of year has a way of bringing added challenges, and right now, several families in our Angel community are facing the unimaginable.

Some are families we’ve walked alongside for years. We’ve celebrated their victories, witnessed their strength, and stood beside them through some of life’s most difficult moments.

And right now, some of those moments are heavier than ever.

We wish we could take away the diagnoses, the uncertainty, the pain, and the heartbreak. While we can’t change what they’re facing, we can continue to show up, surround them with love, and help carry some of the weight.

To our Angel Families, please know you are so much more than a name or a story to us. You are part of our family. 🪽
