This Menstrual Hygiene Day, we’re celebrating dignity, health, and hope for girls and women everywhere. Through ChildVoice’s THRIVE Project, we’re helping girls in refugee and IDP communities access reusable menstrual pad kits and the education they need to stay healthy, confident, and in school.

On this day in 2004, the LRA carried out an attack that led to the death of more than 60 people. We remember the lives lost in the Lukodi massacre and stand with the survivors, families, and community still carrying that pain. May we honor their memory by continuing to support healing, restoration, and hope for war‑affected children and young people.

Please keep the people of Uganda in your prayers as they remember this tragic day.
