Our ChildVoice Kilimanjaro team is officially on their way! Packed tight and ready to go, they are heading out to tackle the Machame trail toward the 19,340-foot "Roof of Africa."

✈️ Today, our team departs for Tanzania!

On Saturday, they begin their trek on the Machame trail, heading toward the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. If all goes according to plan, they will reach the 19,340-foot "Roof of Africa" in the early morning hours of Friday, October 23rd!

Be sure to follow our page and check back often for updates on their progress as they make their climb up the mountain!

The team is taking on this challenge to raise vital awareness and support to expand the mission of ChildVoice—restoring the voices of children silenced by war and conflict.

Happy Uganda Independence Day!

As Uganda celebrates its independence today, we are thrilled to mark a powerful milestone of hope and empowerment within our own ChildVoice community!

We are so proud to announce that 69 incredible young women graduated from our program at the Imvepi Refugee Settlement this week!

These resilient young women have worked hard—healing, learning vital skills, and growing in self-sufficiency. Today, they step into the next chapter of their journeys as they enter our aftercare phase. We will continue walking alongside them with ongoing mentorship, community support, and sustainable opportunities as they build bright, independent futures.

Yesterday, a fantastic team of volunteers at Timberland came together to cut, sew, and iron reusable menstrual pads for ChildVoice’s THRIVE Project!

We are deeply grateful for Timberland’s continued partnership—they have been generously volunteering their time and hands to support the THRIVE Project since 2019. Their hard work helps young women and girls have access to essential hygiene supplies, dignity, and the opportunity to stay in school and thrive!

Today, our staff, students, and local community members are gathering across Nigeria for a vibrant October 1st Celebration to mark Independence Day!

From marching bands and dancing to face painting and inspiring messages from guest speakers, it’s an incredible day filled with joy, culture, and community spirit.

Events like this showcase the amazing resilience, strength, and rich heritage of the Nigerian communities we are so privileged to walk alongside. Seeing these girls and boys celebrate their nation with such energy is a powerful picture of hope and healing in action.
