Thank you everyone who came to the first Outdoor Classroom work day! We battled invasive Burning Bush to clear the way for the future mud kitchen, loose parts/pretend play space, sensory art area, and the Kindness Rocks garden. Volunteers also unloaded and cleaned stumps for our seating area, built a storage unit (funded by Target in Greenland) and hauled Outdoor Learning materials from the school to their new home in our Outdoor Classroom shed. A big thank you to our School Board, NES Administration, and Facilities team who funded and installed the shed!

Wish you came? Don't worry, we have two more work days coming up: Sunday, October 18th and Tuesday, November 3rd, 9am-12pm.
Can't make those dates and want to get involved with our efforts? Join the PTA and get on the Outdoor Advocacy Committee!
