As Scouts, we’re reminded that caring for the planet isn’t just one day a year—it’s part of who we are. From learning to “leave no trace” to taking action in our communities, every small step helps protect the outdoors we love.

Today, let’s recommit to being stewards of the Earth: plant something, clean up a trail, reduce waste, and inspire others to do the same. The skills we build in scouting aren’t just for adventure—they’re for making a difference.

Scouting works because it feels real to kids. Their childhood is not filled with memories of sitting still or being talked at. They’re doing activities, figuring things out together, and celebrating progress as a group. Along the way, they build problem-solving skills, teamwork, and confidence, even if they just think they are having fun with friends.
