Through Siblings Among the Clouds, families who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss have found connection, support, and a community for their living children—reminding them that they are not alone and that their sibling will always be part of their story. 🤍
We are honored to introduce you to this year's Featured Family 💜
Stacy and Jake DeMarais feel honored to have the ability to share and be present with all at the 2nd Annual Soph's Legacy loop. The DeMaraises feel blessed amidst the constant chaos of life with 5 living children, Philip (10), Jude (10), Simon (8), Edna (4), and Frances (1), and always carry within them the life, death, and everlasting spirit of Patrick (d. 1/20/20) and Baby D (d. 12/6/23).
Jake shares ""The only way forward has been and will always be...together." Please know that in grief and pain, we are with you on the journey even if we haven't officially met. As a lyric to one of our favorite songs by the Okee Dokee Brothers states "The life that's in you is the life that's in me....if we try to pick somethin' out by itself we'll find its connected to everything else....night and day, love and grief, life and death are all bound together by the very same breath." We are blessed to be with you and grateful to have this community. We only hope you feel seen and heard and loved."
