Joyce Robinson, an employee that started working for ICOA in 1985 and continues to deliver meals in the Jeanerette area now wants to work at the meal site. She has delivered meals for over 40 years. This is thru floods, rain, cold, everything. She has been and will continue to be a dedicated employee.

We need someone that can deliver the meals in Jeanerette, We currently pay $ .70 per mile with an average of $287 for mileage every 2 weeks for this route. While we can't pay top dollar since we are a non-profit, we do start above minimum wage for the 4 hours you work per day.

Delivering meals to homebound elderly seniors is rewarding. This is a set route, and we deliver meals 5 days a week, 250 serving days a year.

For those of you that know Joyce, take a moment to thank her for her dedication. She will still be working for us but in a different capacity.

On June 16 at 1472 La-318, Jeanerette, LA, St. Mary Parish Recreation facility, there will be a preparation for Hurricane Season for local residents. You will receive a free storm radio giveaway. You must be a Cleco customer and bring a copy of a bills. Quantities are limited. This is from 9am - noon.

Our Homemaker program is really essential for our Seniors. Everyone feels better when their living space is clean and orderly.
Please join our team by becoming a homemaker; approximately 4 hours a day. Need dependable transportation. Will have about 20 clients; 10 clients one week and then 10 clients the next week and it continues in this way.

The nutrition education for the month of May, 2026 is very important. I posted that carbs should amount to 45-65% of total calories. These carbs help digestion and support heart health.
