Here is our menu for September for the seniors of Iberia Parish. I see a lot of client favorites on here; one of which is the Red Beans & Sausage. They also enjoy the Bone-in Smothered Chicken. The meals are balanced and meet the nutritional value that our seniors need. We serve about 260 seniors a day with either congregate or home-delivered meals.

Our Annual Meeting for the Board of Directors is scheduled for our Sugar Cane Luncheon & Dance on September 18, 2026. Not only will we select a King and Queen, we have a new Board Member to select.

This is a survey that will help determine what areas senior citizens have the most need. This survey will help determine the areas the Local Council on Aging's and the State need to focus. It is time for a new 4-year plan for Louisiana, but this survey will also reflect what you, as senior citizens feel are the most urgent.

This is our August 2026 menu. Please note that lettuce has been removed from the salads and substitute salad ingredients have been added. This is in response to the nationwide issues with cyclosporiasis. This is the July & August revisions that were made. When we receive the August menu with Nutrition Education, I will post it.
