The Henry County Health Department’s new Healthy Connections program helps residents connect with resources, navigate healthcare, and address everyday challenges that affect their health.

Our community health workers can help with:
• Finding healthcare and community resources
• Transportation, food access, and insurance needs
• Chronic disease education and support
• Connecting with behavioral health and recovery services

❤️ Henry County Heart Society is Seeking Board Members! ❤️
The Henry County Heart Society is looking for community-minded individuals interested in serving on our Board of Directors.
Interested individuals from all Henry County townships are welcome! We are especially seeking representatives from Jefferson, Harrison, and Franklin Townships, as these townships are not currently represented on our board.
The Henry County Heart Society serves our community through medical equipment support, community education, and other community support efforts. Board members help promote the Heart Society throughout Henry County and assist in managing funds to ensure they are used to make a meaningful impact in our community.
Board meetings are held quarterly, making this a great opportunity to get involved and give back to Henry County.

The safety of our players, coaches, families, volunteers, and visitors is always a top priority. This life-saving equipment provides an added layer of protection and peace of mind for everyone who spends time at our fields.

We are grateful for community partners like the Henry County Heart Society who continue to invest in the health and well-being of our community.

❤️ The Henry County Heart Society is now accepting nominations for its 2026 Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Award Program! ❤️

Do you know a nonprofit organization that would benefit from having a life-saving AED available for its staff, volunteers, and community members? We encourage you to apply today!

📋 To be considered, please submit:• A completed nomination form• Proof of nonprofit status• A 300–500 word essay describing the organization's need for an AED and how it will benefit the organization and the community

📅 Application Deadline: August 15, 2026

🏆 Selected recipients will be recognized and presented with their AED award at the Henry County Heart Society Annual Event in February 2027.
