Nancy Wyman was a friend, a constant supporter, a voice for the mission of the CT BREAST HEALTH INITIATIVE for 23 years and an Honorary Chair of its annual fundraiser the annual CT RACE IN THE PARK…….all in high heels!

It is a great sorrow to learn such a force for Connecticut and women’s health is gone…..but what a role model for us all!

Thank you to these students for raising $550 for the CT Breast Health Initiative. The lemonade stands, rubber duck sales, and Pink Pool Party show real creativity and a genuine commitment to their community. Contributions like these fund breast cancer research here in Connecticut, and we are grateful for their effort. Our thanks as well to the City of New Britain and the Recreation Department for their support.

CT BHI is excited to invite you to our FIRST unprecedented Star Panel of CT breast cancer experts from all four Health Systems to discuss the Mystery of the WHY of this undefeated disease!

We all want to understand, which I think certainly signals a desire for Hope.

Thank you to everyone who joined Team Sanchez: No One Fights Alone at this year’s Race in the Park. We were honored to be recognized as the largest team participating in the event.

This recognition reflects the incredible support, compassion, and sense of community shown by everyone who came together for this cause. I’m truly grateful to everyone who participated and helped make this year’s event so meaningful.

The Connecticut Breast Health Initiative (CT BHI) is proud to announce its acceptance into the prestigious Birdies for Charity program for the upcoming Travelers Championship. This vital partnership with the PGA TOUR event allows CT BHI to significantly advance its mission of funding critical breast cancer research and education initiatives across Connecticut.
