New Bremen Foundation Community enrichment through philanthropy and leadership. NBF is a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization under Federal Code Section 501 C (3).

In 2011, NBF distributed around $80,000 in donations and grants to 27 different organizations. You have the opportunity to invest in your community and improve the lives of your New Bremen family now and in the future. As part of our 30th anniversary celebration, we would like to announce our first-ever Match Event to help boost the impact of the community’s charitable donations. Eleven community organizations are hoping to receive donations and gain a portion of the $30,000 in matching funds.

The 2026 Match Event will begin July 1 and continue through December 1, which is Giving Tuesday. During the five-month event, donations made to participating New Bremen Foundation organization funds may be eligible to receive a portion of the matching dollars, increasing the value of each contribution and strengthening support for local initiatives. The extended Match Event commemorates three decades of philanthropy and community impact while encouraging continued investment in the future of New Bremen and the surrounding communities.

🧵❤️ The Blanketeers are participating in the New Bremen Foundation's 30th Anniversary Match Event!

Through their talented volunteers, the Blanketeers create blankets and other comfort items for homeless and domestic abuse shelters, extended-care facilities, and cancer care centers.

Funds raised during the Match Event will help purchase fabric and sewing supplies so the group can continue providing comfort and care to those in need.

The Blanketeers are also looking for new members! If you enjoy sewing, knitting, crocheting, or other needlework crafts, consider joining them. See the flyer below for contact information and details.
