Members of our Programming Team recently completed a Restorative Practices training led by our very own JoAnna Wold, LMSW! Through a partnership with CIS National, JoAnna brought valuable knowledge back to our team after participating in a Train-the-Trainer session with CIS leaders from across the country. We're excited to put these practices into action to strengthen relationships and support student success. 💙

We are so incredibly grateful for the generosity and support of our amazing community! 💚 A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Wiggins Family for your unwavering support and for 10 years of making Dining with the Stars possible, to McAdoo’s, 2Tarts Bakery, all of our celebrity waiters, and every guest who came out to support our students. This event is a beautiful reminder of what we can accomplish when a community comes together for its kids. After a three-year hiatus, Communities in Schools of South Central Texas hosted its 10th annual Dining with the Stars fundraiser on Oct. 13, welcoming more than 480 guests to McAdoo’s and raising over $190,000 for the nonprofit with support from the Wiggins Family.
