Rooted Repro – May Impact Report

🌸 May at a Glance
May was a powerful month for Rooted Repro as we continued expanding access to essential reproductive health supplies across Southeast Kansas. With your support, we reached more individuals, strengthened partnerships, and raised awareness about period poverty during an especially meaningful week of advocacy.

📦 Items Distributed
In May, Rooted Repro distributed 89 essential items to individuals and families across SEK.
These included:

➡️ Menstrual products (pads, tampons, discs, and cups)
➡️ Condoms (external & internal)
➡️ Pregnancy tests
➡️ Emergency contraception
➡️ Other s*xual and reproductive health resources

Each item represents dignity, autonomy, and access—something everyone deserves.

🩸 Period Poverty Awareness Week Impact
During Period Poverty Awareness Week, our community showed up in a big way.

Together, we:

✔️ Raised $160 to support continued access to menstrual products
✔️ Increased awareness about the realities of period poverty in our communities
✔️ Welcomed new supporters, donors, and advocates into the Rooted Repro network

This support directly translates into more supplies reaching those who need them most.

🤝 Growing Our Reach
In May, we continued building connections across Southeast Kansas by:

✔️ Expanding distribution into new locations
✔️ Strengthening partnerships with local organizations
✔️ Laying the groundwork for our summer mobile pantry

We are committed to meeting people where they are—literally and figuratively.

🚐 Looking Ahead
As we move into summer, Rooted Repro is going mobile! Our upcoming Mobile Pantry will bring supplies directly into communities across SEK, helping remove transportation and access barriers.

Female (internal) condoms are worn inside the va**na and help protect against both pregnancy and STIs. They put control directly in the hands of the person using them—no prescription needed, and they can be inserted ahead of time.
