What are you most excited for at Pitt State ?
At Pitt I am currently the most excited for the culture and environment of football, social activities, and academia in general. I am also very excited about learning the specific skills for my major.
What are you majoring in?
I am majoring in psychology and plan to minor in Spanish
How can you get involved on campus?
There are a ton of ways to get involved on campus, there are numerous clubs both for academic, athletic, and social based groups. I am already involved in the marching band, and have an on-campus job. I plan on getting involved in a few more clubs or groups as my time continues. Pitt is also very good about advertising what you can participate in and there is a whole app with activities as well as tons of resources and locations for involvement and engagement.
What do you think will be the biggest challenge?
I think my biggest challenge will be balancing the social, academic, and adult activities and obligations you will have. For me it is also challenging to decide what precise field I want to go into. However, as long as you practice time management, don't procrastinate, and trust yourself you will thrive!
