September meeting of Navasota Garden Club was Epic!

Member Suzanne Milstead gave a fun and interactive presentation on “ Where the Birds Thrive, People Prosper”. 🐦

We learned that birds are “ indicator species” . We also learned about native plants to attract and feed local birds. Interesting and fun talk! 🌱

We started a new tradition of recognizing the Birthday Girls up from and crowning them with a floral crown and singing the Happy Birthday song. Lots of smiles in the room! 🎂

Our Hostesses spoiled us with tasty food and desserts! 🥪 🍪

We received our new yearbooks and they are phenomenal!

We were all glad to be back together and excited for all the fun the year will bring. We also welcomed some new faces! 😊 We had over 50 people today!

This month members donated cake mixes, frosting and cake decoration items to the food panty in birthday bags for neighbors in need to take and enjoy!
