Today, we proudly highlight our Founder and Program Coordinator, Ms. Samaria
Ms. Samaria recently had the honor of being interviewed by incredible college students from Fisk University. They took the time to learn her story and the heart behind The Window of Love, and we are so grateful she was given the opportunity to share not just what she does but who she is.
Ms. Samaria made history as the first Black woman and first person to start a business during the COVID-19 pandemic and government shutdown. In a time filled with fear and uncertainty, she chose faith over fear and from that season, The Window of Love was born: a space rooted in compassion, community, and service.
She is not only a leader, but a mother and a powerful advocate. Her daughter’s disability taught her the importance of fighting for voices that often go unheard, and her son’s journey as a teen opened her heart to the realities many young people face today. These experiences helped shape her mission to lead with love, believe in second chances, and walk boldly in purpose.
Every obstacle she faced helped build what we see today. The Window of Love stands as a reflection of her strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the community.
We thank the students of Fisk University for creating space for her story to be told. And we hope her journey reminds others that purpose doesn’t require perfection just commitment, heart, and faith.
