After 2 days of ball these girls earned a night of steak and crab legs! They’re 3-0 on the week so far and start bracket play in the morning, so we pray they have the best time tonight and are well rested to play some more ball! 🦆

🥎 Happy Father’s Day! 🥎

Today we celebrate the men who help make this team what it is.

The dads who are always ready to put up a tent, keep extra batteries for the fans, make sure there’s ice in the coolers, throw front toss, chase down foul balls, warm up a pitcher, and somehow always know exactly where we’ll seed before anyone else. The dads who are willing to help in any way needed, give countless hours to every girl on this team, and love each one of them as if she were their own.

We are incredibly blessed to have a team full of fathers who make this family work. Their dedication, sacrifice, and support never go unnoticed. They deserve to be celebrated not just today, but every single day.

A special shoutout to the three dads who help lead this team: DeWayne, Clint, and Chris. Thank you for everything you pour into this group. The time, effort, heart, and commitment you give these girls means more than words can express.

You know it’s Father’s Day weekend when Coach calls for the all white uniforms, he knew he wasn’t cleaning them anyways.

14u GOLD Bracket (Co) Champs 🏆

Despite battling Mother Nature all day, from a 105° heat index to thunderstorms, these girls showed up and competed. Unfortunately, weather cut the tournament short before we could take the field for the championship game, but we’re proud to walk away as Co-Champions alongside our sister 2K11 team!

What makes this even more impressive is that all our games were against second-year 14U (2011) teams, and our girls held their own every single game.

Offensive Highlights
• Highest Batting Average: Elliot Flowers & Maddy Beeman (.500)
• Team Batting Average: .356
• Team Total: 31 hits and 33 runs scored

Defensive Highlights
• Harper Browning turned a HUGE double play in our second bracket game to end the inning with the bases loaded!
• Pitching Staff: 20 runners left on base, 13 strikeouts, and held opponents to a .256 batting average
• Team Fielding Percentage: .889

We couldn’t be more proud of the determination these girls showed all day long. They will continue to raise the standard every time they take the field!
