This is Larry’s oldest niece, Callie. She’s grown up to become a beautiful and very talented young woman! 🎼🎭🎵🎶❤️
We’re just about ONE WEEK away from Morte E Amore and tickets can be purchased ahead on our website or at the door.
In the meantime, we’d like to continue introducing you to the talented artists that make up the ensemble 🎶:
Calandra Damouras (soprano) earned her Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Ms. Jane Eaglen, and her Bachelor of Music degree from the Crane School of Music, in the studio of Dr. Colleen Skull. Most recently Calandra has sung with The Janiec Opera Company of The Brevard Music Center, The Boston Wagner Institute (now The American Wagner Festival), and Opera Saratoga.
Her notable roles include Valeria in the world premiere of Tom Cipullo’s MAYO, Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), First Lady (Die Zauberflöte), and Governess (cover, The Turn of the Screw).
Selected scene work includes Sieglinde (Die Walküre), Wellgunde (Das Rheingold), Mimì (La bohème), La Contessa (Le nozze di Figaro), and Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte).
This summer, Calandra will appear as a local artist with Opera Saratoga, performing in the ensemble of the new opera Drift and in two scenes for their Capital Region Composer’s Concert.
