If this face doesn't start your day in the best way, then you need to go back to bed and try again! Wouldn't it be amazing to wake up to this sweet face every single day?

I can make that happen! This is Hoola and she is the most precious, lab/hound mix 12 week old little girl that is about to change your whole life with her magic.

You see, Hoola, is magical! She has the magical powers of making a bad day into a good day. She can do all the puppy crazy things but make you laugh like you never have before. She can literally transform your life just by being by your side through thick and thin from this day forward.

That's a lot of responsibility for a little puppy!! But she's up for the challenge and all she asks in return is love, patience and for you to continue her training so she can be everything that she knows she can be. She just needs someone to show her!

here’s the recipe for Peanut:

🥣 ingredients

- 1 beautiful brindle coat
- 65 lbs of pure chill
- 1 giant smile
- eyes that look like he has so much love in him he could burst
- 1 “bum flipper” (more on that below)
- 1 spot on the couch next to yours
- a dash of car-ride adventure buddy

👩‍🍳 instructions

- give him his own comfy space and he’ll settle right in. but given the choice, he’ll - - - pick the spot next to you on the couch.
- take him for a ride. he seems to love the car, and his foster thinks there’s an adventure buddy hiding in there.
- mind the flipper. Peanut has some weakness in his front left leg, but it doesn’t dampen his spirit one bit. when he’s excited to see you, he comes RUNNING. his foster thinks physical therapy or strengthening work would help him get as strong and comfortable as possible.
- keep him as the only dog for now. his foster has been with him a short time and is still learning who he is. she feels the best and safest start is as the only dog, so he can decompress, build confidence, and get one-on-one attention.
- add some training. basic obedience and thoughtful, controlled socialization will help him as he settles in.

🐾 serves: one patient person or family with time, security, and love to give.

Peanut is a 2-year-old, 65 lb pit bull terrier and lab mix. he comes to us from Tennessee and there is SO much sweetness in this boy.

meet Willow. she’s a little low to the ground, and she’s got a heart that’s anything but small.

Willow is a 3-year-old dachshund mix, about 30 lbs. she’s calm, gentle, and happiest just hanging out with her people or curled up on the couch next to you.

Willow’s story started on the side of a busy highway in Tennessee, where she was rescued with her puppy. she still has a mark around her neck from an old collar, rope, or chain. it’s a reminder of the hard life she left behind.

now she’s safe in foster care and blossoming. here’s what we know:

🛋️ calm, low-key, and happy to just be near her people
🐕 lives peacefully with seven other dogs of all ages in her foster home
🚶 walks beautifully on leash and does well meeting people and dogs while out
🚗 rides nicely in the car
🏠 fully housetrained, with no accidents
🌙 settles quietly in her crate at night and while her foster is at work
🧒 good with kids
🐈 not good with cats

the catch? she’s shy. new people and new things take her a minute. but short dogs play the long game. be patient, help her feel brave, and you’ll get a loving, devoted girl who just wants to be on the couch next to you.

her perfect home is calm and laid-back. she’d be happy as your only dog, or with one gentle, easygoing buddy.

a message for every squirrel and bunny in the neighborhood: I see you. 👀

hi. I’m Humphrey. I’m a little over a year old, about 41 lbs, and I take backyard security VERY seriously. you’re welcome.

I also graduated obedience school. sit, down, look, place, touch, wait. I can do it all. I just need a person to do it for.

a few things about me:

🧩 I love sniff games, and I can keep myself busy with my toys all day
🛋️ my favorite place is next to my people. I’m a world-class cuddler.
💊 I take medicine to help with my worries, and I don’t love being home alone for long stretches
🐾 I get nervous around strangers and other dogs, particularly on walks or when I spot them from the car. I do best with calm, slow intros.

my owner had health issues and couldn’t keep me anymore. so now I’m looking for new people. I bond deep, and I’m loyal to the core.

if you’re patient, consistent, and don’t mind a dog who works hard to keep the yard squirrel-free, I think we’d get along great.

Greta has been looking for a home for 272 days... and she's been with one of our local CT foster's since May...

Greta was found wandering the streets of Memphis last December, heavily pregnant and trying to survive on her own. One week after being rescued, she gave birth to seven puppies while still in the shelter. No mother deserves that...

Well, fast forward and all of Greta's puppies have LONG been adopted but Greta is still waiting. Thankfully she is waiting from a foster home and not a shelter...

Greta is only about 1.5 years old and 45 lbs. She's a mix. And this medium-sized girl LOVES her people.

She wants to be near you. Sitting next to you, sitting on you, and following you from room to room. She also adores chewing her nylabones, hanging outside, sunbathing in the yard, going for walks or hikes. This girl has lots of interests and hobbies!

She’s also smart. She knows sit, down, wait, paw, kiss, come, and crate. And when you say crate, she goes right in. She sleeps perfectly in there all night!

She does needs to be the only dog. While she's done ok around some dogs in the past, Greta is reactive, and we feel its best for her to be a one and only. Her adoption coordinator and foster would be happy to talk with you more about this! Cats are unknown at this time.

But despite her challenges this girl has so much to offer. And she truly LOVES PEOPLE. Which come on that is the most important trait isn't it?

Her babies got their chance. Now Greta needs hers.

Hi! I’m Bambi. And I'm a deer! Jk, I'm a dog. A very pretty puppy actually!

I was found as a stray in Memphis, and I was pretty malnourished when I came into rescue.

Thankfully, I got the TLC and food I needed, and now I’m a healthy, growing puppy.

I’m 9 months old, now 36 lbs, and I’ll be arriving in New England this weekend! I’ll be fostered in MA, which means I am about to be very available for meet and greets and adoption events. I bet I'll be scooped up in no time...

I’m sweet, laid back, affectionate, and a serious snuggler. Once I realize you are open to it, I will climb into your lap for some very important cuddle time...

I also love playing and wrestling with my dog friends, but I have good manners and know when to back off if another dog is not interested. Mature of me, I know.

Hi, I'm Rinny, but my friends call me Rin. And i'm getting a little tired of being passed over...

During my time in Paws New England's program, HUNDREDS of dogs have found their forever homes, but for some reason I'm still waiting... Is there seriously no one out there who wants a little gremlin to call their very own?!

I'm a really good dog. My biggest flaw... and frankly my only flaw...? I LOVE life and am excited about it... f**k*ng sue me?! Like seriously, I am enthusiastic, what's the big deal?

I LOVE people and other dogs. I insist on meeting everyone. I'm like a real estate agent... I just want to make sure you know who I am in case there's anything I can help YOU with in the future. And guess what? Because I'm such a lover, I'm also an elite cuddler. I just want us to be one?! Just trying to fulfill my duty as man's BEST friend...

I'm working on all this though. Seriously. Even though it pains me, and I think it's absurd that I'm penalized for being TOO friendly. And I'm doing really well... I've attended adoption events and excelled in training programs.

I do totally have an off switch, and I'm great at relaxing in my crate. It's my safe space. The place I go and just think about all the wonderful faces I can maybe lick later that day.

So if you're looking for a dog who is enthusiastic about life, a perfect compact size, a fetch champion, and a cuddle aficionado, please... just apply... at least talk to my people. At least get more info about me... I'd really appreciate it...

💜 A 4-LEGGED DEAF BEAUTY NAMED CADBURY! 💜

Sometimes the hardest decisions are the most loving.

Cadbury wandered away from her owner and ended up at a veterinary office we work with.

Her owner is a lovely gentleman who is currently without permanent housing and was preparing to travel by train. He has two other dogs, and all three are healthy and loved. But he worried that Cadbury might wander off while he was sleeping or otherwise unable to keep an eye on her. He recognized that she needed a more stable environment where she could be safe, and he asked for help.

We were more than happy to say YES!

She’s been with her foster family for just TWO DAYS and has already made herself right at home. She’s met other dogs and done wonderfully with them, and she’s been great with children, too!

This gorgeous girl is off to the vet this week for a thorough exam, heartworm test, and vaccines.

We’re grateful her owner trusted us to help give Cadbury the safe, stable future she wanted.

All eight of Nala and Tiger’s puppies were adopted in less than 24 hours!! Wowwwy.

Nala and Tiger were found roaming the streets of Mississippi together. They were brought to a local shelter, where it was discovered that Nala was pregnant. She gave birth to eight puppies, and together they became this little family everyone fell in love with.

The puppies were a hit, clearly. But now it’s Nala and Tiger’s turn. They are equally deserving of a happily ever after.

So today, we're telling you about Tiger.

Tiger is a 1-year-old, 61lb American Bulldog mix. He is sweet, affectionate, playful, good with other dogs, and loves walks, playing ball, belly rubs, car rides, and being with Nala.

Tiger and Nala can be adopted together or separately. What matters most is that they each get a loving home.

Their babies have homes waiting.

Now let’s make sure these two aren’t left behind.
