Willow needs a new home!

This beauty has all the “wonderfulness” of a Great Pyr at about 1/2 the usual size!

Willow is currently living with a canine foster sister whom she loves to wrestle with - so we are looking for the same or a home that can provide her with exercise and stimulation.

Pyrs are amazing dogs. She’s no different. House trained, doesn’t need a crate as she’s fine alone and not destructive, she sleeps at the foot of the bed and….. lives with a cat and is fine!

Kids - sure but she still gets excited meeting new people and can be a little jumpy.

Currently contained in her yard with an electric fence without issue; a fence of some type is needed for this girl - she wants to be outside as much as possible.

Willow is currently in Rhode Island and is ready, willing and able to meet you!

Great Pyrenees/Crossbreed
S*x: Female. Age: 18 months
Weight: 75 lbs
Spayed/Neutered: No, but will be (or we will cover after adoption)
Vaccinations: Up to date
Microchipped: Yes

Mama Princess needs someone to spoil her right MEOW! Just look at the face. It says it all.

Princess was rescued from Memphis Animal Services on what might have been her very last day.... About a month after she was rescued, she gave birth to five puppies.

And she has been a wonderful mama.

But now the Princess Pups are getting bigger, and it’s time for Princess to get to be the baby for once.

She’s a 5yo, 42lb low-rider pittie mix, and she is exactly as sweet as she looks. Calm, gentle, lower energy, and very happy with the simple things in life. Snoozing on her dog bed. Relaxing at your feet. Wandering outside to sunbathe. Finding the best sunny spot and acting like she has very important royal business there.

She is good with kids, dogs, and cats! She has also shown no real interest in cats. They bore her, what can we say...

She is housetrained, crate trained, walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and knows how to use a dog door. She may bark when she hears something outside, but what dog doesn't really?

Princess is heartworm positive, but PAWS covers treatment costs, so please do not let that be the reason you scroll past her.

This mama has been through too much. She kept her babies safe, raised them well, and now she deserves a quiet, loving home where she can finally relax and be someone’s cherished girl.

Koopa came to PAWS because his previous family’s lifestyle and household were a little too much for him. And that’s the thing about Koopa. He’s goofy and sweet and fun, but he can also find the world a little intimidating. He needs a patient person who will help him build confidence and not expect him to be totally unbothered by everything on day one.

He does have separation anxiety, so he would really love someone who is home a lot, can include him in their adventures/errands, or make doggy daycare part of his routine. Which is convenient because he LOVES the car and other dogs. Very helpful qualities in a dog who would like to be invited places!

Koopa has played with dogs of all sizes in his previous home and at the dog park, and a playful dog sibling could be a really nice fit for him.

At home, he’s treat-motivated, eager to please, and knows his basics. His foster family is working on recall, although Koopa would like everyone to know the backyard is sometimes more interesting than coming inside...

Cats are unknown, and kids should be over 12 or dog-savvy. Chaos really isn't for this guy. He also sleeps like a rock, so his future family should give him a second to wake up before asking him to participate in society... and not start to freak out if one poke isn't doing the trick...

Koopa isn't a perfect dog. You'll have to wait for robo dogs for perfection... But he is a goofy, loyal, slightly sensitive boy dog who wants to be your best friend.

Haven is a 1yo, 9lb Yorkie/Dachshund mix who loves people, happily greets everyone she meets, and gives out kisses like it is her full-time job.

She is good with kids. Good with dogs. Good with cats.

And she’s tiny. And adorable. And sweet. So we do not expect her to be in rescue much longer.

Haven had a heartbreaking start. She was seen being pushed out of a car in Mississippi and abandoned. Thankfully, someone stepped in, and now this little girl is safe and ready for a family who will never leave her behind again.

She does great in her crate. She is not fully housetrained yet and still needs some leash work, so her future family should be ready to keep helping her learn. She also has some separation anxiety and may cry or yip when left alone, but she is not destructive. She just really loves her people and would prefer they not disappear, which honestly feels pretty fair given what she’s been through...

Haven is small, loving, trusting, kid-approved, dog-approved, cat-approved, and very ready to be a tiny addition to a family in New England.

Ok, people... where are you?

Because Skipper is 4 years old, 59 lbs, and really has so much going for her.

She’s good with kids. She’s good with cats. She’s affectionate, gentle, pretty laid-back, and just wants a safe, normal home where she can finally relax.

And after what she’s been through, she really deserves that.

Skipper was living outside with another dog who attacked her several times. Eventually her person realized she deserved a better, safer life and surrendered her to rescue. So now she’s in a southern foster home, getting care, being loved, and hopefully waiting for someone who can give her the life she should have had all along.

Now, we do want to be transparent about dogs. Given her history, Skipper is understandably unsure around them. She’s not aggressive, but she also does not appreciate dogs rushing up into her face. She needs slow introductions and respectful dogs who can give her space.

But she loves people, including kids! Cats are cool too. She met one, gave him a quick sniff, and basically said ok cool.

She is house trained using a doggie door and working on leash skills. She is heartworm positive, but PAWS covers treatment costs, so please do not let that be the reason you scroll past her.

This is a really lovely dog who had a really unfair start.

Meet the Princess Pup Litter! 👑

Princess was rescued from a Tennessee shelter while pregnant and thankfully got to have her babies safely in a loving southern foster home. She was a wonderful mama, and now her babies are getting big enough to start looking for forever families of their own.

There are five Princess Pups total: two girls and three boys.

These pups are playful, curious, affectionate, busy, silly, and energetic! They're love to romp around, explore something new, play with toys, and then completely collapse for a long puppy nap.

They are about 7 weeks old and believed to be Hound/Pitty mixes.

Puppies are work and lots of chaos, but they are also lovable clumsy little gremlins.

Mama Princess is also available for adoption!

As summer comes to close, we are so sad to report that Sweet Shadow is still with us... We really hoped we'd find her a home this summer... but unfortunately no one even submitted an application.

Sweet Shadow has been waiting far too long in rescue... She's been with a CT foster since January and in all that time received exactly one application, which fell through...

There must be someone out there for this girl... She really deserves a family of her own to live out her golden years. She's 7 years old and has never had stability or a family to truly call her own.

Sweet Shadow does need to be your only pet (no dogs/cats), but other than that she's quite a relaxed good girl. Easy to walk and travel with and sweet as can be.

She loves attention and would love to love you...

Won't you give her a chance? We know there are only pet homes out there....

Meet Stormy! 🌩️❤️ This gorgeous 2-year-old Boxer mix is a bundle of love, enthusiasm, and personality!
Stormy is happiest when she’s with her people—whether she’s joining you on a hike, heading out for a walk, learning something new, or snuggling on the couch after a busy day. 🥰 She’s incredibly smart, fully house trained, crate trained, and has completed professional obedience training.
Stormy needs to be your one and only pet, but that just means you get ALL of her love! ❤️ She’ll thrive with an active adopter who will continue her training and give her plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
In return? Endless affection, loyalty, laughter, and one very happy tail. 🐾
