At Venture Together, we believe something simple, powerful, and profoundly true: every child, every adult, every person with a disability is our family.💙

This belief, shared by founding member John Murphy and lived out for 55 years, guides everything we do. As John said when accepting our Thriving Together Lifetime Achievement Award:
“We all exist to take care of somebody who needs to be cared for… Every child born with a disability is our child.”

Sharing Cheer for All to Hear!❄️
This week, Venture Together’s Creative Department hosted our annual Winter Concert! Individuals from all our day programs took the stage at Krucker's in Pomona, filling our day with unforgettable holiday spirit, joy, and performances.

Ranging from classic holiday hits to show-stopping group numbers, our performers shined brightly, and our Venture community couldn’t have been prouder.

Meet Susie K—a bright, determined member of the Venture Together community since 2018.

At her Venture residence, Susie has built strong friendships, grown her confidence, and discovered new abilities. This year, she:

🌟 tested new mobility devices
🌟 joined our Kindness Club to volunteer and give back

Holiday baking season is officially underway at Venture Together! 🍪
Thanks to the wonderful leadership of Janeen and Izzy, our dedicated recreation staff at the Pascack Community Center, participants from Venture Wow and Venture University are joining Holiday Baking Classes every other Friday leading up to the season!

We were beaming with excitement as we mixed, rolled, and baked our made-from-scratch sugar cookies, and can’t wait to see what festive treats we whip up next time!

What a night to remember!⚽
Earlier this month, our Venture athletes celebrated an amazing season at the Annual Soccer Awards Dinner, and we couldn’t be prouder!

⚽ Congratulations to the Venture Rockets for placing 3rd in their division and bringing home the bronze medals.
⚽ Congrats to Aquilino, winner of the MVP Award for his outstanding sportsmanship, incredible offensive skills, and nonstop enthusiasm.
⚽ And a huge congratulations to Mindy, honored with the Athlete Longevity Award for 30+ years as a dedicated Special Olympics athlete.

We are so proud of every athlete, every goal, every moment of teamwork and heart. Here’s to many more seasons of success, friendship, and fun.

Spreading Thanks and Kindness— Together 💛
Venture’s Kindness Club is full of thanks-giving this season as we find new ways to support our community and surrounding neighborhoods.

On a beautiful, sunny morning, our crew delivered donation bags to more than 100 homes for a local Thanksgiving Food Drive in Fort Montgomery, NY. Each bag gives community members the support they need this holiday season.
