The trips may be what get campers excited about summer, but as J-Tweens & J-Teens Director Rachel shares, it’s the people and the moments in between that make camp truly special.

From inside jokes on the bus to late-night card games, unexpected laughs, and friendships that started with simply meeting someone new. These are the memories that last long after the summer ends. 🥹

After 9 summers at camp, Rachel knows there’s no way to plan for all the stories, friendships, and unforgettable moments each summer will bring. And that’s what makes it so special.

Registration is OPEN for the Lewis JCC’s Teen Leadership Initiative (TLI)!

Designed for Jewish teens entering 9th or 10th grade, TLI is a two-year leadership and philanthropy program where teens build leadership skills, give back to the community, connect with mentors, and form lifelong friendships.

Through hands-on experiences, meaningful service projects, and opportunities to make a real impact, teens will grow into thoughtful leaders and changemakers.
