Today after lunch, I ask the food truck delivery guy if they had an extra pallet. There is a huge mud hole that has several pallets in place to help keep scouts out of the mud. It needed at least one more.
They gladly gave me one. I carried it as far as I could with my right hand. I set it down, picked it backup with my left and carried it as fat as I could. I sat it back down and was resting. Still about 200' from my destination. Wondering if I had bit off more than I could chew. Two Scouts came along, asking if they could help and said it was a great idea. They carried it to the mud hole and placed it exactly where needed. Both of them were in the mud up to their ankles.
Not one complaint. They thanked me for the idea, and said it was much better now for everyone.
Scouting lives on!
