Our NBN Youth Programs have officially started - the students have been “back to school” for a solid week and we are looking forward to a great year!

We are confident of their BRIGHT & GLOWING futures, so they ended the summer...with a Neon Glow Dance Party, of course!

The 150+ students of the NBN Summer Learning Program were surprised by the summer staff the final week of summer programming with a neon glow in the dark dance party, that including popsicles, fun music, balloons, glow sticks, hula-hoops...and take home back to school supplies appropriate to their upcoming school grade level.

We owe a BIG thanks to the school supply sponsor, KI BOIS Community Action Foundation, Inc., they are such a generous regional partner and appreciated for supporting our programming.

Thank you, Exchange Club of Muskogee for selecting Neighbors Building Neighborhoods - Youth Programs as one of the charitable organizations to receive the proceeds raised through the annual chili and bbq cookoff.

As an organization who helps Muskogee thrive in many ways, the Exchange Club of Muskogee has focused philanthropic endeavors in protecting vulnerable children and strengthening families, empowering youth leaders and providing educational opportunities.

Together, with their benefactors and through investment, they support child abuse prevention efforts, expanding youth services, and celebrating Americanism through service.

Thank you to our amazing barbers, Brian Ray McVay and Mike Knapper of Knapper Universal, for their time and talent to make our Back-to-School Haircut Event such a success!

And thank you to CB and Heather Abel for their continued support of NBN, not only for this event, but faithfully over many years! They donated food for everyone and provided their Cool Breeze Cooling Trailer so families could stay comfortable while waiting.

Because of our incredible community, over 75 students received free haircuts and school supplies.

Together, we made a difference!
