Recovery is more than just getting sober — it’s rebuilding a life, restoring hope, and creating a future.

At Sober Living House of Hope in Mountain Lake, we are working every day to provide a safe, structured, faith-based sober living environment for men transitioning from treatment, incarceration, or homelessness into stability and recovery.

💙 We are currently:
✅ Accepting referrals
✅ Looking for community support & donations
✅ Building partnerships with treatment providers, probation, and DOC referrals

There are so many men who truly want a second chance but have nowhere safe and sober to go. A stable home can make the difference between relapse and recovery.

🙏 We are currently in need of:

* Household supplies
* Hygiene items
* Bedding & towels
* Gift cards (gas, groceries, haircuts)
* Financial donations
* Community supporters willing to share our mission

We also welcome:

We’re building more than just a sober house… we’re building a home. ❤️

Sober Living House of Hope continues to grow, and we are so grateful for the support we’ve already received from our community.

Right now, we are still in need of a few everyday items to help our residents feel comfortable and supported:

• Towels & bedding
• Men’s clothing (all sizes)
• Storage bins & laundry baskets
• Alarm clocks & power strips
• Coffee & snacks
• Gas cards ($10 increments are very helpful)

We accept new or gently used items (no used toiletries please).
As a nonprofit, we can provide a tax receipt.

We just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported the Grand Opening of Sober Living House of Hope ❤️

We had such a great turnout—so many kind and welcoming people. It truly meant so much to see our neighbors, community members, and even those who traveled from as far as New Ulm. We were honored to have support from the probation departments of Jackson and Cottonwood County as well.

We saw so many friendly faces, received thoughtful housewarming gifts, and were even blessed with donations sent all the way from Texas. We also received so many messages and well wishes from those who couldn’t attend—please know we felt your support too.

It was a beautiful day and a reminder of how strong a community can be when people come together for something meaningful.

We are just getting started, and we can’t wait to begin making a difference in the lives of the men we serve.

We are reaching out to our community for support 💙

At Sober Living House of Hope, we provide a safe and structured home for men rebuilding their lives in recovery. Many of the men who come to us arrive with little to nothing—some directly from treatment or incarceration.

We are currently in need of the following items:

• Twin sheets, blankets, pillows
• Towels & washcloths
• Laundry baskets, storage bins (all sizes), trash cans
• Alarm clocks & power strips
• Dressers, lamps, small TVs
• Wooden TV trays / small folding tables
• Plastic dishes, drinking glasses, mixing bowls, pots & pans
• Coffee maker & coffee
• Toiletries (NEW only) – shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, etc.
• Men’s clothing (new or gently used – socks & underwear must be new)
• Notebooks, pens, snacks
• Gift cards for haircuts
• $10 gas cards (very helpful for rides to work & meetings)

We gladly accept new or gently used items (clean and in good condition).

If you prefer, we also accept cash or gift card donations so we can meet immediate needs.

As a nonprofit, we can provide tax-deductible donation receipts upon request.

Every donation helps provide dignity, stability, and a fresh start for someone working hard to change their life.
