A big congratulations to Will T, who celebrated his newly earned Eagle rank with his Eagle Court of Honor. We are so proud of you!

Congratulations to Nathanael P for completing his Eagle Project! Nathanael lead the construction and installation of the game Nine Square in the Air at his school, Palmetto Christian Academy.
The scouts also built two benches next to the new court, which is where the upper school students spend their recess time. After a ribbon cutting ceremony during school, the students wasted no time putting these new items to use! Great job, Nathanael!

Congratulations to Jack H for completing his Eagle Project. A much needed new and improved bridge is now available in the Palmetto Islands County Park for the community to enjoy. Great job, Jack!

August's Court of Honor not only recognized the many accomplishments of our scouts, it also celebrated the induction of a new Scoutmaster! It gives us great honor to introduce Dr. David Preston as our new Scoutmaster and we look forward to his vast knowledge, leadership, and Scouting spirit at the helm of our troop. And congratulations to Brandon Tart, as he stepped down as SM and into a role of ASM. Your years as SM oversaw troop growth, countless advancements, amazing mentorship of both Scouts and adult leaders, and so many fun memories and adventures. Thank you both for your commitment to Scouting and our Troop!

From the river valley to the tree tops, Bryson City, NC was full of adventure! Our scouts had the chance to white water raft and zipline and have plenty of fun together. And an escape to the mountains is always a good idea during the HOT summer months!

Students at Moultrie Middle School will have two gaga ball pits to enjoy thanks to the planning and leadership of Will T for his Eagle project. Will went to middle school there and was excited to give back to the school and community in this way. And with school starting in a couple of days, these students now have another thing to look forward to! Way to go, Will!

Palmetto County Park has more spaces for their rental kayaks thanks to Remy M's Eagle project! Remy led the troop in building and installing the new storage rack, which will ensure that more kayaks are available to be enjoyed by the community. Great job, Remy!

For his Eagle project, Will G built a bridge across the historic confederate trench at Christ Episcopal Church - Mt. Pleasant. This will make for easier passage between the church and the shed (where our scouts have had many meetings, including two straight years during Covid). Congratulations on a job well done, Will!

Many of our Life Scouts have been busy this summer! First up, Cal D, whose Eagle Project had our troop clearing, cleaning and landscaping around the historic cemetery mausoleum of Christ Episcopal Church - Mt. Pleasant. Congratulations, Cal! It looks great!
