🎃👻 October has been FULL of spooky fun for our Girl Scouts Unit! 💚

From MTES ➡️ Florence High School ➡️ Riverbank Charter ➡️ and finishing up at Hedding Church… our Girl Scouts have been ALL over the community making memories and having a blast! 🍬🎃

If there’s one thing we love showing everyone, it’s that Girl Scouts are SO much more than cookies & crafts! 💚

We’re all about adventures, friendships, community, and FUN! ✨

💚🍪 The cookies are just a bonus! 😉

Details for our service meeting tonight! 😍 Our goal is to have at least one leader or registered parent volunteer from every troop attend our Service Unit meetings! It’s just one hour packed with helpful information, upcoming events, new ideas, and opportunities to connect with other troops. Together, we can share ideas, support one another, and continue creating great experiences for our girls! Hope to see you there!!

Troop 28524 had such a fun visit to Old York Veterinary Hospital! 🐾💚

The girls got a behind-the-scenes tour of the hospital where they learned about surgeries, checked out the X-ray room and real X-rays, learned about the lab equipment, practiced bandaging, and even gave pretend injections to their stuffed animals! 🩺🩻🧸

They also made stuffed animal toys for some of the patients to enjoy — and it looks like Chip definitely approved! 🐶🥰

Thank you to Old York Veterinary Hospital for taking the time to give our Girl Scouts such a fun, hands-on experience! And great job, Troop 28524! 💚

We’re all set up at John Hydock Elementary School in Mansfield tonight from 6–8 PM! 💚

Come stop by, say hi, and learn a little more about Girl Scouts! We’re hoping to meet some new faces, make new friends, and welcome some future Girl Scouts! 🍪☘️

We can’t wait to see you!

🇺🇸 Remembering September 11th 🇺🇸

Yesterday, our Springfield Girl Scout troops came together for a special September 11th vigil to honor and remember the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the bravery and unity shown on that day. ❤️🤍💙

We are so proud of our Girl Scouts for taking part in such a meaningful evening alongside their troop leaders, families, and local first responders. Teaching the next generation the importance of remembrance, service, and community is something truly special.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🛑 Stop Letting These Myths Hold You Back! 🛑
Every recruitment season, I hear the same thing: "I'd love for my daughter to join, but I just can't be a leader."

Usually, it’s because of a few common misconceptions that make the job seem way more intimidating than it actually is. We have spent years listening to these concerns, and we are here to tell you—you ARE leader material! ✨

✨ Gold Award Spotlight ✨

Congratulations to Kerri Moran of Troop 26228 on earning her Girl Scout Gold Award!

Connection, Compassion, Community was Kerri's inspiring project, focused on addressing isolation among older adults. She hosted a community event and created a website to help residents of Greenbriar easily access local resources, fostering stronger connections and improving awareness of available support.

Congratulations, Kerri, on making a meaningful and lasting impact in your community! 💛

It's scary. It's messy. It's challenging.

It's also one of the most rewarding things you'll ever do. 💚

Take the leap with us and become a Girl Scout leader. The girls are waiting—and so is an incredible community. ✨
