Several years back the group that ran the 5k/10k with parks and rec during Spring Fest retired and we had to cancel that part of our event. After a year of not having it we had some amazing volunteers jump and take it by the helm.

The MLHS Cross Country and their coaches stepped in (The O’Shea Family leading the charge) and it reached success we had never seen. Spring Fest helps promote the event and umbrellas the insurance, but the Cross Country handles all registration and day of event activities. Spring Fest also doesn’t receive any funds from the group. The money is used to help support trips like you see in this photo! We truly live in a special community! Good luck in Hawaii!! We are rooting for you all!!

Spring Fest may (no pun intended) only happen once a year, but our volunteer team of dedicated citizens begin planning as soon as it is over. We can’t say thank you enough to our sponsors, community resources, support of the city of Moses Lake, County and City LTAC, and countless hours of volunteers that make this event happen for 70K+ attendees. This picture is just a reminder of one of our many WHYS.
