Congratulations to Monsignor Eckert who celebrates 29 years as Pastor and Deacon Warren Leonard who celebrates 27 years ordained as a Deacon at Holy Trinity Parish today! Join the Council in congratulating our two Brother Knights for their tireless service to our Parish. God Bless you both! Vivat Jesus!

Monsignor Eckert would also like to extend his thanks to his farewell gathering committee, along with all Parishioners and Friends who stopped by for a last visit before his retirement. Monsignor continues to be humbled by the outpouring of love from the Parish. We are happy to share the 9:30 a.m. Mass from May 31, 2026, which includes a reflective homily of his time with the Parish. As Monsignor has said, he's not done yet so he looks forward to seeing everyone at Mass over the next few weeks.

Today is a big day for our Council. We celebrate our incorporation day, which is our 73rd Birthday! 🎂 Over this past Fraternal Year (starting last July 1) we continued to build the mission of the Knights of Columbus in Holy Trinity Parish and the Greater Morrisville Communities. Take a look back at some of our events, programs, and services from this past year.

The Council was honored to serve Holy Trinity School - Morrisville, PA Graduation as greeters and ushers. The Council also sponsors an award annually, which is given to a boy and girl of the graduating class. This year, we dedicated the award to the memory of our friend and Brother, Shawn R. Meisels, who passed away earlier this year. Below is the announcement as read during the ceremony. Congratulations to Robert E. and Shania G. who were recognized by the Council. May you continue to honor Shawn through the lives you lead. Congratulations to the Class of 2026. Vivat Jesus!

The Shawn R. Meisels Faith in Action Award

This next distinction recognizes students who bridge the gap between spiritual understanding and daily life. It is presented to a graduating boy and girl who have exhibited true excellence in their knowledge of Religion and have consistently demonstrated a positive, joyful, Christian attitude. This award recognizes a generous spirit of service to Holy Trinity Parish and community, a kind and caring demeanor to others, and a good work ethic.

Moving forward, to honor a legacy of lived discipleship, this accolade will now be named the Shawn R. Meisels Faith in Action Award. Shawn was a dedicated family man and Knight of Columbus who lived his faith devotedly and openly. Shawn was a shining example of how we should all strive to live and this award embodies all that he lived by his example. With Shawn's untimely passing in 2026, the Knights of Columbus Father Joseph D. Gallagher Council #3673 moved to honor their fallen Brother by memorializing his memory in a school and church he loved, by recognizing students that will carry on his legacy by continuing to put their faith in action.

Join us as we congratulate our Council Chaplain and Parish Pastor, Monsignor John C. Eckert, who celebrates 54 years Ordained as a Priest today! Happy Anniversary, Monsignor! Vivat Jesus!

PRAYER FOR ANNIVERSARY OF PRIESTLY ORDINATION

Father of mercy, we come before You with gratitude on the anniversary of Your faithful servant, Rev. Monsignor John C. Eckert.

Praise and thanksgiving for him fervently tending the flock of God that is in his charge. (1Peter 5:2)

Because of the grace that has been given him in Christ Jesus, (1Corinthians 1:4) he has touched countless hearts and inspired so many souls.

Bless Monsignor Eckert abundantly for so generously sharing his God-given charismas and sharing the Good News - the joy of Jesus.

Please continue to shower him with the same abundant joy and zeal with which he has blessed so many in his priestly ministry. May Our Lady of Good Counsel intercede for him that he may be filled with wisdom, compassion, fortitude and fidelity as he continues to shepherd Your people.
May he never be afraid to speak the truth in love. (2 Timothy 1:8)

If anyone is available we could use help unloading this 15 ft U-Haul truck full of donated food items for the Holy Trinity food pantry. The food was collected as part of the national letter carriers food drive today. We only have a few hands left to help so if anyone can give 30 minutes to help unload that would be wonderful. We are packing up and should be at Holy Trinity around 7:00. Thank you!

A wonderful day supporting our Brother Knights from Our Lady of Grace Parish - Penndel, PA at their annual golf outing. We were happy to send 2 foursomes to help support all the great work they do in their community!
