Hi Everyone,
Happy Valentines Day! 💕
The rescue is looking for sponsors for some of our therapy horses and long term residents. Recently, one of our sponsors passed away suddenly. She was a lovely elderly lady (84) who used to come out on weekends to spend time with the horses and eat lunch with her caretaker here. She was a wonderfully kind hearted woman who donated monthly for 3 of our horses. With her passing, we are really needing donations or sponsors for our horses given the board costs and expenses that continue monthly like vet, supplements and farrier have continued to rise. Anything helps, even a small amount. Donations are tax deductible. Please consider sponsoring a horse, we accept donations via Venmo or Zelle,
Please PM with any questions or if you are interested in volunteering or seeing the horses. Please share this post! Thanks in advance! ❤️🐴🐴

Meet Chula! This sweet girl is a lively 1-year-old mixed breed who came to us as a stray. She's still the new kid in the kennel, but we can already tell this charming and playful lady loves water and enjoys being around people. Chula does well with other dogs, especially the ones that match her energy ✨

Staff think she may do best in a home that can keep up with her active and fun-loving spirit, although she would love to go to any home. If you're looking for a young, energetic dog to add to your family, Chula might be your perfect match! Stop by the shelter located at 402 Bryant St anytime Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 4:30 pm to meet her 💖

You can bring her home for FREE this Saturday, August 23rd, during our adoption special 🎉 All dogs and cats are eligible! Plus, attendees can enjoy more fun activities happening at the shelter. You don't want to miss it!

Here is a throwback to Mustang Heritage Spectacular '24 in Franklin, TN where Garrett Shanks participated in our open show. Garrett is one of the 'mustang kids' that has grown up working with mustangs and is now sharing his knowledge with youngsters who might never have had the chance to experience horsemanship without his sharing of experience. Did you see the drill team of his 'kids' at this year's Spectacular? He just picked up his mustangs for Mustang Magic in Ft. Worth, so we wish him the very best! Keep adopting those mustangs, Garrett! Every gentled mustang has a chance of a forever home - and that's why we all do what we do! Best of luck to all our MHF trainers getting ready for Mustang Magic. If you have a show coming up, we want to know about it! Let's celebrate every time a mustang leaves holding! 🌎 The Bigger Picture

🌄 Good morning, dear supporters!
We’ve been quiet on social media lately—hard at work on the important proposal for the Salt River wild horses. (We also don't use auto-generated posts here—you always get the real us!)

Because we are being really careful according to procurement rules, we can’t say too much about the future of the herd right now. But we do have an important post coming soon… so we’re checking in—👉 ARE YOU all still here with us?

💡 Facebook won’t always show you our posts unless you’ve clicked “See First” or prioritized us in your feed. If you don’t want to miss our updates, please make sure you’re following closely. Click on the words Salt River Wild Horse Management Group to land on our page and check your settings.

📸 Today’s photo is of the Tonto National Forest—the side where NO wild horses live. What do you see in this picture? Zoom in and share your thoughts, but please keep comments professional and respectful (otherwise we’ll have to remove them).

Thank you for standing with us—your support helps us keep fighting every single day. ❤️
