The week of Aug. 31 will see a major traffic pattern change along Main Street from Chester to Church. Only the westbound lane of traffic will be open with all eastbound travel diverted. Eastbound through traffic should make a right at Church Street and head down to Route 38 before rejoining Main Street at Mount Laurel Road. Pedestrian access along Main Street remains available.

This marks a change from all prior traffic patterns which always had the eastbound lane of traffic open. Learn more via our newsletter ➡ https://conta.cc/4gA00D9

🦋🍂One of nature’s most incredible journeys is underway!

Each year, monarch butterflies travel thousands of miles across North America, making their way toward the mountain forests of central Mexico. Even more remarkable? No single monarch completes the entire round-trip migration.

Follow the routes on our map and see how these tiny travelers cross an entire continent using instinct, sunlight, and generations of determination. Link To More Informaiton in Comments

Have you spotted any monarchs where you live? 🦋🍂

🎾 The U.S. Open is serving up more than world-class tennis — it’s showing what responsible outdoor sports lighting can look like. 🌙

The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is DarkSky Approved through our Outdoor Sports Lighting Program, joining a growing list of sports venues around the world demonstrating how carefully designed lighting can illuminate the game while greatly reducing light pollution spilling into the surrounding night.

The center’s state-of-the-art lighting was designed and installed by Musco Sports Lighting, working in partnership with DarkSky to meet the program’s standards.

As we told the Associated Press: “We live in a world where we need to engage with one another in the nighttime environment, and that’s OK. That’s a beautiful thing and there’s a way to do that responsibly.”

To the stars on the court and the stars above — here’s to a great U.S. Open and all the world-class players competing under the night sky! 🎾✨

Scientists are calling on cities to recognize urban forests as essential infrastructure… just like roads, utilities, and public transit.

Why? Because trees work hard for the places we call home. They cool neighborhoods, help manage stormwater, improve air quality, support wildlife, and create healthier spaces for people to gather, connect, and thrive.

But growing an urban forest takes more than planting trees. It requires thoughtful planning, ongoing care, and making sure tree benefits reach every community.
