In 2025, Zer0 to 5ive and NWEA earned a Pepperpot Award for “The Struggling Middle: How COVID Disruptions Impacted the Classroom and Beyond.” Their six-month PR campaign used NWEA data and expert insights to spotlight the continued challenges facing middle school students post-COVID, generating national coverage and raising awareness around an issue that demanded attention.
