TruthGatherers, Family and Partners:
As we transition out of AWEGUST, let’s keep our hearts and minds focused on what is ahead.
God moved powerfully in our church and our lives this month—and it was entirely Him! To protect and continue this momentum, keep these three truths close as we enter September:
1)Stay vigilant: Temptations, distractions, and old habits will try to pull you off course in the months ahead. Recognize them and stand firm.
2)Own your choices: Sometimes we face spiritual opposition, but other times it comes down to our own actions. Decisions matter. Do not let a poor choice forfeit the breakthroughs you received in Awegust.
3)Take personal responsibility: Maintaining this spiritual growth is on you. You cannot survive solely on other people's prayers or knowledge of the Word. Be consistent in your own prayer life and study Scripture for yourself.
What we experienced was just the beginning. If we do our part and stay disciplined, this won't be a one-time event—it will be a continuous flow in our church and our daily lives!
