Our officers are proud to participate in the Police Unity Tour, an annual ride honoring fallen law enforcement officers and supporting the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. Over the course of several days and hundreds of miles, riders come together in remembrance, unity, and support for the law enforcement community.

Today, we celebrate seven dedicated recruits who have successfully graduated from the Essex County Police Academy Class 25-2. Their hard work, commitment, and perseverance have prepared them to serve our community with honor. Join us in congratulating them as they begin their careers in law enforcement.

The members of Montclair PBA Local 53 extend our deepest condolences to our brothers and sisters at the Montclair Fire Department, and to the Williams family, on the passing of retired Firefighter Marc S. Williams.

Marc was not only a dedicated public servant but also a pillar of the Montclair community, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met. He was a true friend to all of us.
