At just 10 years old, Ulrich taught the world what true bravery looks like. 💪

“Now my youngest son has to live the rest of his life without his brother.” 🙁

Those words from Ulrich’s mom, Larissa, captured the unimaginable loss of losing a child – and the lasting impact of a life that was far too short. 💔

Born with stage 4 MYCN-amplified neuroblastoma, he faced more than any child ever should. Chemotherapy. Surgeries. Radiation. Immunotherapy. Clinical Trials. Ulrich endured painful complications from treatment and traveled far from home in search of every possible chance at more time. Even after periods of no evidence of disease, his cancer kept returning.

Yet through it all, Ulrich never lost his smile. He fought with incredible bravery until the very end, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and hope. ❤️

After losing her son in October, Larissa turned heartbreak into a purpose. ✨ Inspired by the compassion of the medical team who cared for Ulrich, she chose to pursue nursing so she can provide that same hope and support to other families facing childhood cancer. This past spring, she graduated and began working as an oncology nurse. 🩺

This year, the HVCC Nursing Club’s annual head-shaving event honored Ulrich and other children impacted by pediatric cancer, bringing together a community determined to create a future where more children survive and thrive. 🙏

Thank you to the HVCC community for standing alongside Larissa and her family and helping keep Ulrich’s memory alive. 💚 His courage continues to inspire the fight for a cure.

At just 15 years old, Ambassador Stephen has already faced more than most people will in a lifetime. After battling Ewing sarcoma, he’s now in remission, and his latest scans came back clear. 🙌

He’s currently taking Driver’s Ed and preparing for sled hockey season! ✨

Every breakthrough gives more kids the chance to celebrate clear scans, chase their passions, and look forward to what’s next.

On Saturday, September 5, join us at the Las Vegas Lights Football Club Faith and Soccer Night for an evening of soccer, community, and support for kids with cancer. Benji will take the field to share his story, giving us a chance to hear directly from one of the kids at the heart of our mission.

“You’re in remission.”

Those are the words every family facing childhood cancer longs to hear. ✨

At just 3 years old, Cameron (Cam) reached that milestone after being diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia in February 2026. But while remission is an incredible victory, his journey is far from over. To help keep the cancer from returning, Cam still has more than 2 years of chemotherapy ahead. 🙏

His treatment has already included countless procedures and hospital stays. Just 2 weeks after starting chemotherapy, he developed a blood clot in his brain caused by one of his medications and spent months on blood thinners while doctors waited for the clot to dissolve. 💔

Through it all, Cam has never lost the joyful spirit that makes him so special. His mom says he’s the sweetest little guy you’ll ever meet. ❤️ He loves the color blue, giraffes, trains, books, and anything with wheels. He never turns down a snuggle, and his favorite person is his big sister.

Cam's story is a reminder that childhood cancer doesn’t end when remission begins. 💪 Kids deserve treatments that cure them without causing so many complications and long-term effects.
