Today, we gathered with Louise’s friends, family, neighbors, and community partners to leave heartfelt messages that will live within the walls of her home for years to come.

Wall signings are a long-standing Habitat tradition, and we’re honored to continue it with every home we help rebuild in Altadena.

Because rebuilding is about more than houses. It’s about bringing families home and restoring the community we love. 💙

🏡💙 50 YEARS OF BUILDING HOMES, COMMUNITIES & HOPE!

This past week, members of San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, for Habitat for Humanity’s 50th Anniversary Affiliate Conference, joining Habitat affiliates from across the country to celebrate five decades of impact, collaboration, and building brighter futures!

From our CEO to team members representing Marketing, ReStore, Real Estate, Human Resources, Finance, and Programs, SGV Habitat showed up ready to learn, connect, and share!

The conference was an incredible opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from fellow affiliates, celebrate successes, and share some of the exciting work happening right here in the San Gabriel Valley, especially as we continue our efforts to build affordable homes and rebuild communities.

And it wasn’t all workshops and conference sessions! Our team also had the chance to explore Atlanta together, including a visit to the Georgia Aquarium and a little baseball fun at an MLB game! ⚾🐠

Beyond the knowledge and inspiration we brought home, the week was also a chance to strengthen connections across our own departments, make memories, and celebrate the people behind the mission.

50 years of Habitat. One shared mission. And so much more to build together! 💙

☀️🏡 A beautiful Sunday to welcome Tasha, MacKenna and their daughter HOME to Altadena! 💙

Family, friends and community members came out to celebrate this special homecoming — and even the heat couldn’t keep everyone away!

After everything this family has been through, seeing them step inside their new home, surrounded by so much love and support, made today that much more meaningful. And with those hot temperatures outside, we think everyone was especially grateful to celebrate inside their beautiful new home — with the AC running! 😅❄️

We did it! 🩵 This year’s Raise the Roof Gala raised more money than any Gala in SGV Habitat history! 🏠✨

And we had so much fun doing it!

From cocktails and the w**e toss to silent auction bidding, an exciting live auction and plenty of laughs along the way, it was an incredible evening made possible by our supporters, sponsors, honorees and friends.

Every bid, every donation and every show of support helps SGV Habitat continue building and rebuilding homes for local families.
