We are blown away by your generosity!

Our Christmas (Bureau) in July campaign set out to raise $2,500 for gift cards for local teens, and thanks to the incredible support of our community, we raised $2,775 and surpassed our goal!

Every dollar stays right here in Union County and goes directly toward making the holidays brighter for a teenager in need.

We didn't reach our $2,500 goal and have extended the Christmas (Bureau) in July drive one more week.

If you have been meaning to give, or are just hearing about this for the first time, now is your chance. The holidays may feel far away right now, but every dollar brings us closer to making sure our teens feel seen.

Ever wonder why we ask for your donations to be at our doorstep before early December? Here's the answer.

The Union County Christmas Bureau doesn't happen overnight. It takes months of planning, coordination, and community generosity to make the holidays possible for thousands of local families.

Here's a look at what goes into it:

JULY | It starts here.
The Christmas Bureau launches its summer campaign to raise monetary donations for teen gift cards.

AUGUST | Planning & coordination.
Volunteers and staff begin organizing logistics like planning, confirming partner locations, recruiting volunteers.

SEPTEMBER | Toys for Tots drop sites open.
Collection boxes go live at schools, businesses, churches, and neighborhoods across Union County.

OCTOBER | Families apply for assistance.
In early October, we begin accepting applications from eligible families through our online form.

NOVEMBER | Applications & sponsorships.
Project E.L.F. sponsors are matched with families. Christmas Cheer Champions finalize their gift trees and donation drives.

DECEMBER | The magic happens.
Hundreds of volunteers come together to sort toys, pack food boxes, and distribute gifts to thousands of Union County families.

Your generosity this season means the world to us, and we want to make sure every gift reaches a child in the best possible way!

The Christmas Bureau can only accept new, unwrapped toys and clothing. Pre-owned items, though given with so much heart, aren't able to be safely passed along to the children we serve. And as tempting as it is to add a little wrapping paper magic, our volunteers will have to unwrap everything anyway to inspect and sort it before it can reach a family.

Give it new. Give it unwrapped. Give it with love.

Every Christmas Bureau volunteer plays a vital role, and today we shine a spotlight on our unsung heroes. These are the volunteers who go above and beyond, arriving early, staying late, stepping in wherever help is needed, and taking pride in even the smallest tasks. Through their initiative and a willingness to do whatever it takes, they help ensure a volunteer-driven operation like the Christmas Bureau runs smoothly and successfully. Volunteer Spotlight: Gift Distribution

After weeks of careful planning and preparation, it’s finally time to distribute gifts to our families. From the moment applicants arrive on site until they drive away with gifts in hand, our volunteers work hard to make sure everyone has an amazing experience. Distributing gifts is fun, but it also takes strong teamwork and good communication to keep everything running smoothly. Hats off to every volunteer who helps make the magic happen and a special thank you to our gift distribution team leaders.
