Monroe Morning Optimists

Monroe Morning Optimists The Monroe Morning Optimists Club serves the needs of youth in our community. We enjoy social activities, snacks, and also host a weekly speaker.

The Monroe Morning Optimists Club serves the needs of youth in our community through fiscal fundraising and support. Our weekly guests speak on behalf of area companies, organizations, and various groups about what their role in the community is. Some of these organizations inform us on the impact the Optimists have had on their children, schools, and communities.

Busy meeting this morning!

We officially said best wishes and good luck to our Junior Optimists that we've gotten to know and have enjoyed their monthly updates!

We officially presented the Monroe High School Band Program our pledge for the new band uniforms that they are working towards achieving.

We also had the pleasure of learning more about Roby's Garage - Mobile Auto Repair! Jared shared all the things hes able to fix on the road and its quite impressive! From oil changes to engine diagnostic to all the things between, hes your guy for all those needs! The best part, he comes to you! With the hustle of busy lives what more could you ask for?

The Launch Program was a great success for our Morning Optimist Club!

Featuring numerous totes of photographs and memorabilia accumulated over the years. Two exceptional students selected our project, resulting in over 300 photographs being digitized.

We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with the students on this project and wish them continued success in their future endeavors.

It was impressive to observe the showcases at the high school, where students presented their projects 👏 demonstrating outstanding achievement.

It's time to update our community on the projects our club has been working on over the past eight months!

We take great pride in having supported various youth organizations and initiatives, facilitating improvements, launching new endeavors, and providing ongoing support to programs throughout the year. Our Optimist calendar operates from October thru September, and we have indeed been exceptionally busy.

Have you ever wondered how the Morning Optimist Club manages to support these diverse organizations? The answer lies in our successful CHEESECURDS initiative!

We recently welcomed Band Director, Erin Hanke, to our board meeting to showcase the Monroe High School Band Program's exciting new uniform designs, and we're thrilled to share their vision with our community.

With a diverse range of uniforms needed to accommodate every student, the program is working tirelessly to raise funds for the purchases, as well as specialized storage to keep the uniforms in pristine condition for years to come.

Although the goal is still within reach, our Morning Optimist Club has made a significant contribution, pledging $10,000 towards the effort.

We're confident that with continued support, the band will be able to don their new uniforms at the new school, embodying the spirit of excellence that defines them. If you're able to contribute to this worthy cause, please don't hesitate to reach out to Erin.

Over the past two years, our Morning Optimist Club has been honored to support the Day of Service at Monroe High School, a truly transformative experience that showcases the power of collective action.

MHS Day of Service is an annual celebration of community spirit, where 650 students and staff unite to drive meaningful change in Monroe.

Since 2013, this remarkable initiative has yielded over 20,000 hours of selfless service, a testament to the students' and staff's unwavering commitment to creating a better world.

This year's event was particularly noteworthy, with 562 young people served a meal on the Day of Service.

We are deeply inspired by the compassion and dedication of our young leaders!

Thank you MHS students and staff!
