Congrats to all the participants of the annual Swiss Day Pedal Pull. Kids are placed in division by their weight and must use a pedal tractor to pull a sled the furthest distance. There were over 114 pulls with the final 2 in each division pulling for bragging rights for the next year. Thanks to Berne Ready Mix for sponsoring the trophies. Tri Country Newholland, Truland, and Affolder for pedal tractors, and Adams County Farm Bureau for suckers
Results:

0-40 lb class ; 1st Place - Easton Smitley - 18 ft 6 in. 2nd place Eden Miller - 16 ft 8 in
41-50 lb class: 1st Place- Crew Feasel - 34 ft 5 in. 2nd place Elaina Abinet 33 ft 6 in
51-60 lb class: 1st Place - Emery Workinger 47 ft 4 in. 2nd Place - Marie Manley 44 ft
61-75 lb class: 1st Place - Allisse Miller 52 ft 5 in. 2nd Place - Bodie Zeller. 31 ft 4 in
76- 100 lb class: 1st Place - Carter Smitley 43 ft 2 in. 2nd Place - Ainsley Freeman - 42 ft 7 in

Congrats to all the participants of the annual Adams Co 4-H Pedal Pull. South Adams and Adams Central FFA members hosted the pull in the Livestock Show Ring for kids under 13 years and weighing less than 100 lbs. Thanks to the many sponsors: Tractors: Tri County New Holland, Truland, & Affolder Implement. Adams County Farm Bureau for suckers, Monroe Trophy & Engraving for the trophies, and Adams County 4-H for allowing us to host this event.
Results:
0-40 lb class ; 1st Place - Cole Feasel. 2nd place Eden Miller - 1
41-50 lb class: 1st Place- Crew Feasel - 2nd place Cedric Colchin
51-60 lb class: 1st Place - Emery Workinger 2nd Place - Maverick Scherer
61-75 lb class: 1st Place - Will Workinger. 2nd Place - Parker Lehman
76- 100 lb class: 1st Place - Alli Baker. 2nd Place - Lucas Hummel

Another successful day for our members. Cash Rumple won State Extemporaneously Speaking and Ben Beckner and Chase Brown won Ag Business Mgmt Demo. Brielle Fruechte for Creed, Bo and Bree Kohlhagen for Plant and Soil Demo, and Beth Kohlhagen for Discovery Food Science Demo all places 3rd in their individual contest. The Novice Parli team also received their 2nd place plaque from this past year.
Cash Rumple was also installed as the new District VIII President. Great job to everyone that completed.
