🌿🌴 A JUNGLE OF OPPORTUNITIES AT FFA SOAR! 🌴🌿

Emma, Noah, Connor, Cash, Bree, Kacyn, Lydia, and Beth experienced a “jungle” of a weekend at the Indiana FFA Center during FFA SOAR (Seeking Opportunities and Achieving Results) Camp! 🌱

Guided by the Indiana FFA State Officer Team, members took part in empowering and meaningful activities that encouraged leadership, personal growth, and new perspectives.

New friends were made, new goals were set, and new experiences created lasting memories

Adams Central FFA members competed in the Indiana State Livestock Skillathon contest, putting their livestock knowledge and skills to the test in beef, swine, goat and sheep evaluations. Wool, hay, breeds, equipment, keep/cull, retail meats, meat judging, industry tests, quality assurance and medication were a large amount to learn! Our members did well and it was a great opportunity to challenge themselves, gain experience, and represent Adams Central FFA

In 8 days members attended 2 invitations and 1 area contest. They judged 15 soils pits and logged over 100 miles and many hours of driving. Had to switch short bus and might have been stuck on an 18% slope on wet pasture grass?!?!? Members had multiple teams place in top 5 overall and many individuals placed in top 10 overall. In the end 3 teams advance to state contest in Clay county in a few weeks.
